Re: Announcing MyNBA2K15!
Im pretty sure its Kingdom Hearts for me, that or Skyrim for my highest gamed times. As annoyingly hypocritical it is of me to say, I can understand people wasting a ton of time on those, but just not a mobile card appComment

Re: Announcing MyNBA2K15!
NW GameDad, I have a couple questions;
1) Can we be expecting new players, specifically new historic players in the up coming app?
2) Will there be new players added to the app as time progresses. EX midseason cards, or hopefully even more (possibly weekly or monthly) additions, similar to Madden Ultimate Team or NBA Live?
3) Obviously the app is associated with the actual 2k14/ 2k15 console games. However the app has many historic players that the consoles do not have (yet). If your app has the rights to use these historic players does that mean the console version has the rights to some of the players too?Comment

1. MyNBA2K15 will have a new roster based on NBA 2K15. We planned the players I think a bit better this year so hopefully you guys will be pleased. Don't worry though Kyle Macy is still a Legendary as he should be. I know you guys love him so. :-p
2. We have lots of content planned for the new app. The NBA has a lot of players to work with and a lot of history. For the current '14-15 Season players we will definitely be updating them as the NBA Season plays out.
3. We use players that the console game has rights to. The console game doesn't always use those players for various reasons (e.g. art, stats, balance of positions, etc.). We can use them in our game though.NWGameDad

Welcome back from your vacation. I posted an idea on the discussion thread while you were away that was pretty well received and I'd like to know what you think. I hope you take the time to read this and give feedback because I do think this is beneficial to both sides and would satisfy everyone.
For rivals events: Have a much bigger list of rewards, BUT eliminate the rank system and have rewards for X amount of points, like benchmark rewards I suppose. Obviously since people reach high numbers the rewards would have to extend to greater point values like, say, 50K to 75K and beyond for those who really want to separate themselves from the rest with amazing cards. Additionally, the winner, and only the winner of each RC gets an exclusive, pro'd card or an extra of the top reward if it were only a single card. Deciding which teams rewards will be given out will be determined in a fan vote during those few days between when the teams are announced and when it actually starts. One vote per account so there isn't a select group of people hammering votes into one team ruining it for a lot of people. This A) keeps the importance of hot streaks but delivers a higher demand for them from the top players to get the highest, best rewards and B) allows the community of players, in my opinion, to really play for who they need/want. Also, it allows people to do there grinding and stop when they please without having to worry about network errors causing them to lose out on a Rivals card or a leg pro. I know this is long but I'd love feedback! Thanks!Comment

Re: Announcing MyNBA2K15!
There are dozens of players we never use that we have rights to. The NBA has a very long history and hundreds if not thousands of players that have played in the NBA over many decades. Many times we don't use certain players because they are just not well known enough, or our photo library just doesn't have a good picture of the player we can use on the cards. There's a fine balance between selecting a good variety of players for the game and yet selecting relevant players to the gamers.
Now some of the more well known players that you have all noted as missing (e.g. Kareem, whom I would love to add) have different licensing agreements so we can't always use them in the game. Some players are able to demand different agreements for the use of their image, etc. Even still the agreements we do have give us a huge variety of players.NWGameDad

I like the idea. We don't really want to change the way Rivals Clash works though. It is designed to be a community battle throughout the week. Players like it, so we don't see a need to change a lot about it. However, do we think we should add another game mode? Heck ya! We know there are players that want a more engaging single player experience that can be played on more their own pace and we are working on something like that. It will not be ready for launch of MyNBA2K15, but we're working on a new mode that if it works well, we'll put out in an update after launch.NWGameDad

Hm, interesting. I noticed you mentioned ladder rewards on your twitter, could you give us some info on that or anything else new? Ya know give us a little teaser like 2K is doing with NBA 2K15 every so oftenComment
