To make things clear we get to keep all our cards and they get transferred to 2k15?

The cards do not transfer between apps. We don't take away your cards in MyNBA2K14 though either. The app will still be up and running for awhile.


In MyNBA2K15, we changed the stats pretty significantly (added a 5th stat for Rebounding and changed a couple of the others) and we have a different set of tiers to the cards (hence Ultra Rare cards as Loyalty Rewards), so the MyNBA2K14 cards just don't translate at all to the new game.


We have several other highly requested fan features in the new app too. More on those later.

Any talks of making every card obtainable in the current app (rivals cards that lost and all)

We have been making the "loser" Rival Cards available through the fansite contests. We are not making the entire catalog available though as some people still want to play and enjoy MyNBA2K14.

Will we be able to get rewards even though we only played the mobile 2k not the console version?

I played the game through my phone's game center account, so I don't have one of those nba 2k account.

Everyone that has a 15 card deck on September 8th will get at least 1 card since they will fit in Tier 1 at a minimum. Now before people run out and create a bunch of accounts, these special cards will not be attainable in any other way and they will not be tradable. Also, if you create a 15 card deck on September 9th, you will not be eligible for the rewards either. The 8th is the cutoff!

Well that sucks. Will drop rates be increased or anything for 2k14? With out rivals and seasons really still not working what do we play for?

Absolutely! You will just need to login to MyNBA2K15 with your Game Center account. The console game, or a console account, is not required.

Not sure what you mean by Season not working. They are definitely working and much better since our fixes to the matchmaking.


As to why to play now, that's really up to you. Play for fun! Some people will be playing to get up the tiers of rewards I would imagine.

In daily vc, you get credits. I got 2 questions about this.
1. Do we need the main game to get the credits only if we wish?
2. Will our current credits be transferred onto the new app?
