When a game has the year appended to the title, it's a safe bet that at some point there will be a new one...

Names of apps change all the time.
They could've renamed it to MyNBA2K15 at some point. There is really no need to create a totally new app and not let people keep their cards.

its usually quite easy to fix, but annoying to deal with. I had a student that failed my class try to do something fairly similar since he had name, email, address, etc. Wasnt too difficult but my god the red tape

Dude wanted to be a smart ***. I simply came in to voice my frustration over losing a lot of money and having to start over. Danan responded and empathized with me, but the douche wanted to troll. I ignored him at first, but he kept going. He's mighty tough behind that keyboard that's for sure.

they could have named the app MyNBA2k so that they only have to do updates, but they would lose out in so much money.

same reason console games have the year attached. Like FIFA12-FIFA13 etc... not much of a change other than graphics and maybe game play yet people will always buy the newer version

NW Gamedad, what tier from the My NBA2k14 app will ultra rare cards be closest to? Also, what is different about finals MVP cards compared to just Championship cards? Thanks

Because many people are still enjoying the app and the thrill of acquiring new cards. As I have said, we are keeping MyNBA2K14 going since so many players are still enjoying it. We don't want to break the fun by just giving everything away now. Many people are picking the game up for the first time just now.

I never said give them away just make them obtainable that way we have a reason to play

I think boosting the drop rates would be a great compromise, people will still play and enjoy the game til the next one drops.

*edit* Will the number of cards we can hold be increased? 120 sounds alot until you start grinding and then it becomes a real annoyance.

Yes, use the same login in both games and you get the rewards.

Are the loyalty reward cards going to be obtainable through 2K15 gameplay? Meaning are the loyals going to be the ONLY people with these cards, or can someone brand new to 2K15 possibly draft/win them as well?

Only people who played the 2k14 version before Sept 9th will be eligible for the cards.
