Re: Maintenance on Dec 21st, 2pm PST
If you had read a few posts later, he confirmed that the seasons would not be able to be paused, so he did let everyone know.
"Two things:
1. Unfortunately, we cannot pause seasons for this maintenance window. I will not bore you with the technical behind it, but we just can't do it.
2. After maintenance the new update will be out. I will post later with full release notes.
Sorry for the trouble on Seasons! Everyone will be in the same boat though and unable to maintain their Seasons."Comment

Two things:
1: I did refill my guys just before the maintenance, but it was so unusually long that they got tired and lost anyway.
2. NO! Everyone was not in the same boat. Bots have assistant manager which allows them to recharge.
This is still on them.Comment

Re: Maintenance on Dec 21st, 2pm PST
If you read the message carefully, that is maintenance on the 2K Sports servers, which affects your ability to sign in to the NBA 2K15 side of the game. So, that message is still relevant.
As for our maintenance, obviously it is over and the update is available from all stores. Again, my apologies for the Seasons situation. We thought we could pause them as normal, but because of the work we had to do we couldn't pause them.
As for the delay, best laid plans of mice and men. We have never had such a long delay with Apple's server before so we couldn't predict the 16 hour downtime. We had the game already approved, and just needed it propagated out to the App Stores. This propagation is never instant and is limited basically by the hardware involved. Like I said though, it has never taken this long in the past.
It was our call to keep the entire game down during that time, to allow for everyone to be able to get into the game at the same time. We thought it was right so there wasn't confusion on, "I don't have Star cards!" or "I don't get the new Season rewards". We are looking at ways to prevent these problems in the future.
Again, our apologies for the problems. Everything should be all good now. We hope you enjoy the game!Last edited by NWGameDad; 12-22-2014, 12:01 PM.NWGameDad

Do you normally login with XBL, PSN, or Steam? Since the 2K Sports servers are down for maintenance this may be why it is crashing. Granted it shouldn't crash at all in that situation, but that may be the reason.
Just wait until that maintenance is done, or try logging in with FB or Game Center, Google+, or Game Circle.NWGameDad

The 2K Sports servers are back up, so give it another try if you login with XBL, PSN, or Steam normally. Everything should be ok now.NWGameDad

That's tough without the AH being up yet to see what is valued more, but in my singular opinion I'd max and pro them and sell it. I think that gives you the most value and most people would want a pro'd card instead of a singular card. That's just one guy's opinion though.Comment
