I was 186 last night, went to sleep (6 hours) woke up at 260. This was at around 3300 points.

My guess would be at the mid-high-range (the 180 ~ 450 bracket), and maybe in higher brackets, the RC is less competitive due to the duplicate nature of the rewards. Whereas at the lower ranges, it is more competitive as people who ranked highly last time are uninterested in getting another PF or PG, and so are going for the dupe C rewards.

      Just a guess.

I wonder... if we assume that this is a less competitive RC, then that indicates less people are spending money on hot streaks. Shouldn't this be financial incentive for CD to pick better RC teams and rewards?

Hope you're right, so far it's been easy maintaining Top 450, hope it doesn't get harder later on.

RC definitely feels slow this time around, but then again I've never been at the position I'm at so early in the RC (5,132 with 730 points). I'll probably fall when I sleep but I'll make it back tomorrow.

Yeah I'm grinding the same as usual but somehow I'm rank 150 instead of 350 which is where I'd normally be.

Regarding the rewards I am close to the 450 Mark where you get RC star card but why would you want 1x RC star instead of 2x star so you can pro them?

I know the RC star has much better stats but still, is a single RC star better than the pro normal star? If not I don't see the long term benefits of getting the RC card.

Can someone please let me know what I am missing here? FYI I know the 450-900 reward is only a single pro card but you have a chance to dupe it while I don't think you can dupe the RC card can you?

                  Cheers

I have 3 RC cards and they are my 3 best cards. I have 11 single Stars and a few Legendary Pros, but not Star Pros yet. When I eventually (hopefully... please?) get a Star Pro, it will be better than my single RC cards, but for now, the only reason I'm in Star tier and able to compete is because I have the 3 RC cards.

Wouldn't you eventually be able to get another one once the auction block is up? Not sure if RC cards are sellable/tradeable but if they are then RC cards are the best.

Thanks that is the kind of explanation I was after.

They aren't sellable on the Auction House

Long term stars are better, but RC cards beat leg pros so they improve your deck until only star pros are needed. Ideally one would try and be in the top 90, but it does take alot of work to get there. So settling 450 - 900 is going to be easier.

RC cards also have an appeal for collectors like me. Even if I don't make top 90, it's much easier to get a star through season play.

The only reason I'm playing QG in LG++ tier and doing LG seasons is because of the RC stars Rodman and Kobe + the Kyrie I won by missing out on Lebron by 5 spots JKSFJDBNFJDBFJODBFJKDBFJKDFJKD

I know a lot of people talk long term, but I'll be frank, I see myself burning out long before I get the equivalent number of star pros as RC cards I'll earn in my MyNBA2k15 playing career.
