For everyone that keeps asking, you can win west 2 pointers with a star+ lineup. Currently with this lineup I'm either winning or tieing almost every game. Play your weaker cards first unless it's a doubles event.

So now after beating Wilt, I've got 11 POs, 3 Stars, 2 Legendary PROs and the rest of my lineup are Legendary PROs. Everything is maxed out except for the last couple of POs that I just picked up. I've got 10 of my POs lined up in two columns and the highest of the rest of my cards in another with as many as I can get in their correct position. I took a screenshot but tapatalk was being wonky and wouldn't let me attach it.

When RTTC started I didn't have enough cards so most of my money went to filling out my first RTTC lineup and training fodder (I don't have a lot of time to sit down and grind hundreds of games out at a time).

I mean it's whatever, I'm still gonna try my best to gather as many POs as I can before September, but I'll be damned if I'm gonna spend another dime on this game. I'm Star++ in QG but I haven't even gotten my first Star reset yet and am still probably 100-150 board clears from it. I've got 5 maxed out POs in QG so I'm gonna have to wait until I can Pro one of them to hopefully bump up into PO soon.

In seasons I've been trying to grind out Star seasons the past couple of weeks to upgrade my RTTC lineups since I'm not gonna buy anything. As I get Star cards they're slowly replacing the weakest cards in my lineups but I'm still gonna have a hard time in RTTC until I can get some Star and PO dupes.

tl;dr The tiers in RTTC get crazy hard on card #4 and I'm not going to pay Cat Daddy any more money so it's gonna be hard for me to make the first reward tier.

Noooooooope, what a crock of ****. I go from being able to win +7s without even looking on the third card to not even being able to win an occasional +2 on card #4.

I understand that maybe the tier with a Great card should be a bit harder, but the disparity between tiers is just asinine and makes zero sense. If I can easily win +7s on the third card, I should at least be able to struggle through +5s on the next tier.

Also listing it as a Legendary++ has to be a mistake, you probably need at least a Star++ lineup to beat it.

Maybe you don't want the casuals to get all these great cards, but unless you have 16+ hours a day to invest in playing the game, you're going to have to buy HSs and Game Nights to make it past the first PO Great. I bought a pack of HSs and a couple full packs of GNs to start off. But now that I know it's impossible for me to make the next tier, I have no motivation to buy anything else. Are you reading this Cat Daddy? When I know it's pointless for me to play, I'm not going to spend any more money.

I've spent a couple hundred dollars on this game (before playoff cards existed) and have very little to show for it, especially with the way the rewards tiers are going to be for next year's game. I currently have 11 PO singles and at this rate I'll be lucky to make tier 1.

I was in your smae spot the last 3 RTTC's. I can finally beat +2 JW. The problem is that they skip a tier. "Star" tier does not exist. You got from Leg to PO. Leg++ tier to Star++ tier. Completely different.

As said earlier, JW has a range of 2.1k to 3.1k - You need one column of PO pros at least 40/55. And another column of either fully trained PO cards or Star pros. Or lesser trained PO pros. Basically a row of around 2.8k cards.

        That's pretty much what I have and I can beat +2 about 80% if I don't make a mistake.

You need to improve your top 10 cards, dupe PO cards by trade, PO singles are useless and worth only 1 point while PO pro worth 3 points in loyal rewards.
Yeah I gotcha, not replacing them per se because the weakest ones need to be replaced, but replaced because when I get a new PO/Star/whatever, the weakest card becomes training fodder.

5 PO Pros , and 7 Star Pros and 7 Single POs not enough for +7. those MVP Stars get you. I could maybe win 1 out of 10.

                but 100% at +5

                  Re: RTTC Discussion

As someone who is beating the 4th RTTC card on +2 games for the first time (you can still find my posts a few pages ago asking for +2 LU, lol), here's what I learn:

                  - Fully trained, in-position PO can almost 100% beat the weaker cards in West's deck. So theoretically you can beat West +2 with 10 regular POs minimum; If you do the "two columns" strategy then you need 12.

                  - PO pros and Star Pros are safeties but not essential. PO pros can win doubles even paired with a common, and Star Pros win most single match ups.

                  - The only threats are Kobe, Bob Petite, Jerry West and Nick Young (OFF only) which can beat PO singles and sometimes Star Pros. Just avoid first rounds.

                  - Team boosts. I have had several games where CPU got so many team boosts, the weaker cards goes from ~2800 OFF to almost 3500 OFF. That's where the PO pros and Star pros comes in...

I wonder what is the cutoff for +5 games are though? Grinding +2/+4 games took forever...

I'm in the same boat as you, I feel like in the past people have said the next card is easier. Can you confirm or deny this?

It's not easy, it's pretty much the same level from then on if not harder.

I know it's kinda disappointing , i grinded the +2s hoping it would cool down a little bit until it's time for the next great card, but it doesn't -.-
