To NWGAMEDAD- Read if u want the game to last til October

I hope he reads this! (Sry for grammar)

Seasons- this is by far the main reason people play this game. Sure weekly events are great, but seasons is the reason ppl participate in events so they can progress in seasons and compete at high levels. Seasons is the reason people play this darn game everyday!!
Simply u need to rebalance the rewards! 200 credits shouldn't be the difference between winning a legendary season and a star season. A player knowing this won't have any incentive to improve their deck to go into a star tiered seasons....
And don't give me that crap where 400 credits are actual credits that can be used to buy stuff....what am I going to buy w/ 400 credits??? Not a single person would take 400 credits over a star card!

Most of the community suggests 2 stars+ the credits as reward for star season!

Just so u know....ton of people end up spending 200-400 credits on boosts during the POs just to compete to get an extra star card....now they have no reason to do so. Ask yourself...will someone spend extra 400-500 credits on boosts to just win few hundred credits in seasons....

Remember u can add all the new modes and new tiers/cards.....but don't **** with seasons mode, it's what everything revolves around!!

RTTC- first of all great mode, really enjoyed it! Now get rid of this boring same deck we have to play every game for that particular boss! Like RTG....make it so we play other humans decks. This will make it bit more difficult and unpredictable but also ton more fun playing other people's deck of 25 cards! (If it's possible on wwe, it's possible here)

Also people already know what type of decks they need to beat all these boss cards because they are playing the same deck each time and can easily find a strategy to get the top rewards! Playing against other humans will make strategizing more fun, and even scouting other humans players and whatnot.

Now my main concern w/ RTTC... Reward needs to be a dupe!! Hakeem by itself is useless to me and many others who have decks with 15 star pros or better. For most people who are able to get the Hakeem card, it's useless to them unless its pro'ed. U guys are helping the lower level people, but people with stacked decks have nothing to play for. All the boss cards below Hakeem are auctionable, so easily can be pro'ed....but Hakeem it's nearly impossible.

Hell...i even suggest making the final RTTC boss available to purchase for 10k on the store during the duration of RTTC....that gives people the chance to sell and gather credits to buy him to pro.

I know u guys added the RTTC boss card into RC....which just made RC more competitive. But to only have it so 25 people can get it is a slap in the face to people who don't have enough time or money to grind for top 25. Your just asking everyone to take 4 days off and play this game w/o sleeping and hot streaking the whole way... Like really???
Just like RTG is for people who don't have time to grind in PCC.... RTTC should be for people who don't always have time to grind in RC but still has a chance to get a great card.

Also, these HOF cards are not as good as RC cards....so that won't piss off people like Syd who spends to get the top cards in RC. They won't mind people with stacked decks getting a nice pro HOF card!
But that don't matter either since 100 people can get a RC pro yet u don't award a HOF pro in RTTC....

I won't go in to RC, because we didn't get a chance to play in one yet.

AH- I can't sell any cards...... Enough said! I won't argue for removing caps. But u have to make the buy it now minimum price same as the minimum bid price!! Majority of the cards sell on open bid for minimum price. If u don't believe me, am sure u can check what cards are selling for! No point in making people wait 12-24 hours to get their card! This will make the AH much more accessible and convenient!

Thanks for the read! Just my thoughts...

Agree with this poster. I enjoy the game and like the concept of trying to put together a season deck of my favourite players but also not happy with the greed factor by CD.

While I've spent what I consider quite a bit on the game - I'm still stuck in leg season tier never winning and at best getting another leg card.

One thing I would disagree with in this post is that while I like the RTTC event it doesn't actually help lower level players like me as it's impossible to beat the level to get a card that will improve your deck....so in other words it's frustrating for everyone!

I think the game would benefit greatly by:

    1. Genuinely giving players the opportunity to improve their deck on a continual basis through consistent play of season mode (without needing to spend money)
    2. Get rid of tax in AH - very frustrating if people are willing to spend to get the card they want that CD takes such a big piece of the pie
    3. Lower minimums in AH
    4. Lower price of packs and get rid of cross tier packs (admit that I'm still bitter at getting 1 Star Record Getter when those packs launched from multiple packs!)
    5. Be good if players who spend cash on this game would get linked rewards in the console game (MT points needed for killer cards on the console AH and the pack system is laughable but not for this forum....)

Just my 2 cents as a genuine basketball fan who thinks the app and the console game are great products but at risk of losing fan base with too much of a cash focus. Just compare with GTA V, unbelievable game that can be completed and all aspects enjoyed without spending any additional cash after purchase

Some good points on rttc, playing against other humans would be great.

About seasons, I wouldn't hold my breath on getting more stars, with the AH being established now, getting 2-3 stars every 4 days would make it too easy for someone to make a killing selling them and never spend a cent again. Sucks for us but I think they figured it would be too easy to farm them for easy credits, especially those with monster decks.

Regarding the AH, I actually like it now. Aside from the 30% fee I think it's pretty dang good after the changes. I've sold 9 of my last 11 auctions and all epic and under. As with real auctions, you have to do a little research before you try and sell something first, especially keeping an eye on your competition and if any of those cards are selling at all. it doesn't make much sense to list a random untrained card that is identical to 100 others and many ending around the same time as yours or at a time when not many people are awake to see it. These are some of the mistakes I learned from beta. Popular players are always a safe bet

Re: To NWGAMEDAD- Read if u want the game to last til October

The problem with RTTC is that the casual player does not have an amazing deck. I would know, since I have been casually playing since release and am not even to the epic tier in quick game. My only options at an epic card are to ensure I am around during the season playoffs, buy credits so I can afford player packs and auction house posts or play enough games in RC. I got my first epic card out of the last RC which surprisingly only took me around 40 wins - so I was able to compete for the wesley matthews card. Once RTTC was released I thought this will be great, I will be able to get my second epic card. Unfortunately once you reached the UR tier the support cards were epics! Why the support cards were better than the damn reward is beyond me and almost prevented me from being able to collect the UR reward. The only way I was going to get an epic reward from RTTC was to lose 140 games straight - which I obviously was not interested in doing, so I quit playing RTTC after I completed the UR tier.

I do agree that the removal of cards for garbage level credit rewards in season mode was completely unnecessary especially for players still trying to advance. So now my game plan is to attempt my second epic from the up coming RC and sell all my spare UR cards in the AH to possibly buy the 1300 credit base epics because there is a ZERO percent chance that I will pay around $100 USD for a guaranteed epic card with a tiny percent chance for a legendary. I could use that money more appropriately on a steam sale. For people who say 'support the game designers' I have no issue paying full price for a full game - I will pay to play, not to win.

Hmm, that's weird. I remember playing for Ewing and they kept using a +3 common support.... Strange. I clicked through everything before my Star Matchups.

Unfortunately this game is not advantageous to the casual player. Unlike other free to play casual games which has an energy system with this game you can play and grind the whole day if you wanted to. So the progression rate of a casual player will always be slower compared to a grinder.

For me this game has been more than fair with my game progression w/o spending compared to other free games which I always reach a wall that can't be overcomed even if I grinded 24/7. I could still win w/o paying whether I was in R, SR, UR, Epic, Legendary until I got into Star tier. You will just take longer to get to the upper tier because you are a casual player.

I'm a free player and I've been happy with this game... I just know I have to grind a lot on RCs to improve my deck because that is the only free way of progressing relatively quickly.

I found out about this game 4 RCs ago. I've been playing the console game for years faithfully but never bothered to download the companion app, they always seem to be a waste of time. Now I'm in Star QG/Legendary season tier and most of my progression has come from grinding in RC, purchasing packs and acquiring select cards from the AH to better my deck. I've only sold maybe 2 or 3 cards since beta so most of my credits have come from spending real cash. I've spent well over $500 in total so yes, it's very true. In order to progress, you must pay to play in some form or fashion.

My mistake, I meant support as in the rest of the bench/players not the literal support cards. When I was playing in the c/uc/r/sr tiers all of the players being played by the cpu were of that same rarity tier. Once you got to the UR tier, the cpu had a deck of like 5 UR cards and 20 epics (even if you were playing +2 - although with the combine all your best cards into two position slots to guarantee the double win, I was able to go 50/50 in +5 games)

I agree with a lot of what the OP stated. My issue is I'm a casual player and am torn on the changes to the RC rewards. A couple RC ago I grinded to the 8k level to get the double epic reward which is now being pro is still my best card so far. Now with the new rewards yes I can get a leg at the same 8k tier if I grind to that point (my goal is 2k tier for the leg & epic; but, doubt I'll get there). My problem is the epic x2 is imo a better reward as it helps my deck more since in my understand a levelled pro will beat a single of the tier above it. It seems like they made these changes just to force players to the AH to get pro cards. Basically CD is telling the casual player to either spend $$ or get out because they aren't really going to be able to upgrade their deck by grinding unless you get really lucky.

You don't necessarily HAVE to pay, especially if you are patient. If you grind out each and every RC, you have a chance of getting a Star RC every other week.

I only found out about this game right before the Grizzlies/Thunder RC about two (three?) weeks ago. I managed to pull a Legendary Russell Westbrook (yay me!) and I had landed in the UR++ tier (E tier after a few training sessions). I admit that I am a shameless grinder. I spent a lot of my slower work days just grinding away, making it a lot easier to get sweet resets that I just leveled up and started auctioning until I could start buying Star tier cards without spending a dime.

So it does all just boil down to whether you have more money or time. I just happened to have a lot more time than I do money to spend on this game. Although I suppose that's how (almost) every FtP game works.

I agree. And that's the whole design of the system. Everybody starts out as a free player, and the goal is to hook the player and slow progress over time so hopefully he'll start paying to progress at the same rate as before.
