Need some advice

Hi there,

im trying to improve my lineup and have to make some decisions right now.

My top Cards:
Leg pro Westbrook
Leg Penny x2 (both maxed, pro after current season?
Leg Tony Parker
Leg Demar Derozan
Leg Bill Walton
Epic Pro Brad Daugherty
and several Epic singles

I got a bit under 2000 credits, so i could buy a Leg soon or maybe even now under minimum.
First idea was Derozan, cause that would give my SF position a boost and i at least have an Epic pro at center, so not bill walton.
But that would give me 3 Leg pro without any good Def or Reb Stat.
So second idea was Walton, despite my only epic pro is a center.
But then again Walton is one of the weakest Legs in terms of total stats.
So now i have no clue whether to buy a derozan, walton, maybe even a Leg PF because i have nobody good there, or waiting for my next Leg without credits and see if i get lucky with a PF or somebody with good DEF or REB.

First of all: You need 2400 to buy under min, as you need to buy first. You will hardly find a deal partner who buys your uncommon first.

But then again Walton is one of the weakest Legs in terms of total stats.

I wouldn't worry about that too much. Stats are overall pretty close, so the one thing you should be aiming at is to move into star tier, both for QG and for season. Leg Pro is your best shot in this phase of the game, and you should take whatever you can get.

There's a lot of people who buy your uncommon first. Actually a lot of people buy under minimum BECAUSE they couldn't afford the minimum

Ok, 3 pro legs wont be enough for star tier right?
If i can get into top 1000 next RC, is a lineup with my two Leg pros, the RC card and the Star reward enough for star tier?

And as that would push me into Leg season (right now still in epic) maybe ill work from there with getting legs regularly and save up for buying astar dupe in the future?

Three maxxed out Pro Legendaries paired with two maxxed out Pro Epics puts you about 75-80% of the way through Legendary++ so presumably you'll need four Pro Legendaries fully maxxed along with a Pro Epic fully maxxed to squeek into Star tier for your QG/RC games.

You should do that as quickly as you can as you'll get a star card on your first board clear (a player if you aren't unlucky), and your board resets will be Star cards instead of Legendary (although until you work up to Star++, you'll have to clear 350ish boards, which is around 2300 games won).

You most definitely want to get into star season as soon as possible since you need only make it to the 2nd round of the playoffs to get the same card reward you would if you won the season.

Until you do those two things, which will require you to pay money or grind a lot of games out, you'll feel stuck. Once you can pick up a Star card roughly every 4 days, it shouldn't be too long until you can start getting at least the first star card in RTTP, if not both.

Obviously you can supplement this by grinding hard during RC events, but the amount of time and effort required is not trivial.

Yeah my dupe westbrook is from RC which required basically top 1000.
So maybe thats the way to go as i can afford only 1 leg through ah...

You should aim for Top 1000 in the next RC - as they changed the reward structure

And have the added benefit of letting you QG against Leg+ decks most of the time,which you should win if you play smart.

I have a question. I currently have 4 epic pros and 5 legends as my best cards.

I am in Legendary+ for quick games and have enough credits to pro about 3-4 legends or buy 2 stars.

What would be wiser, pro the legends or go for single stars?

If you pro the 4 legends you'll reach star tier and you'll have the star freebie.
But legends pro could become useless in the long period and they are unsellable, while star cards have more market.
So there is plus and minus, you decide what is best for you
