I've been progressing too quickly this last week. Went from Epic++ to Legendary and got my reset after one clear (K. Malone) Now after my season ends today I should have 4 legends which I can easily pro from the AH with credits I have and that should put me in Star. Is there still an incentive to grind once you hit Star or does it get boring?

Your reset after one clear was your Freebie. The next reset will take way longer than that.
So as long as you are willing to grind, you will still have fun

I'm in Star++ and my motivation has diminished a bit just because it takes sooo long to get your reset. I'm still playing season and will participate in this RC, but I haven't been playing many quick games at all. But with playoff tier potentially coming soon I'm trying to maintain interest for now to better set myself up for that tier.Comment

That's what I was afraid of, the resets take so long at that level and there's not a huge incentive to win Star seasons anymore. Not too interested in buying special edition packs either as they will just help you win the same stars anyway.
A tier above Star will definitely help as it will give a reason to win again.
I will def participate in the next RC though as I have a much better lineup than I did on the last one. Hoping I can do some damage this time around.IGN: Richard

From my opinion, I haven't played many QG lately and I really don't pay attention to seasons anymore. RttC was fun and I blew through it in one day. RC will hopefully restore my grind, but the season rewards changes have definitely impacted the rest of the game.Comment

Agree deeply with the season rewards part.. After reaching Star Tier in QG and Legendary in Season, it was basically the Season Rewards that kept me going with this game.. since it kinda gets discouraging sometimes knowing I have to clear so many boards before I can get my next Star Reset, I'd take my time playing the Season so at least there was some motivation, but now knowing the rewards aren't as good I feel even less motivated..Comment

Here's another idea to fix the season rewards:
CD said they wanted to reduce the number of stars obtained from seasons. I understand that. How about not reducing the rewards, but making them harder to get?
So how about raising the number of human players in a season? Double the time it takes to create a season roster would be totally acceptable, I think. It would be way harder and way more rewarding to win a season with like 10 human players in it.
Result: Rewards may stay the same (3 stars for the winner, 2 stars for the finalist and so on) but overall number of stars obtained through seasons would be cut in half.Comment
