Okay this will be good news for anybody who was aiming for Top 1000 in future RC and my girlfriend - I will not longer be part of this event. Top 100 is out of reach (without spending money on HS) and everything below is useless.

May change if the reward structure will be updated but so far there is absolute no need in grinding for an RC Card which can't be duped + a Star Card which won't help me as I will be in playoff Tier. Enjoy your grind folks, and make sure you don't fall out of top 1000 after the calculation

With these new packs and playoff tier, shouldn't the cost of Stars in the AH go down? They're trumped by so many cards now that at their current price they make for a pretty lousy investment.

The pack, and the fact it's 'the greats' only sounds cool, but the card looks a little gaudy to me, like some Liberace/Ed Hardy lovechild.

Other than that, looking forward to the packs, tier and new RttC/RC rewards

Pages on pages of questions... this seems pretty basic...

These cards are basically the HOF cards of the PO tier. Everything is going to work EXACTLY the same as with them.

Count on these to be the final cards in RttC... which makes them part of the Top 25 reward for RC. Don't count on these being auctuonable.

They'll be expensive, yet fairly easy to dupe.

From the looks of things, they will feature the 50 Greatest Players of All Time, as was compiled back in the mid-90s, for those too young to remember. Google it. Shaq was the youngest player on that list, iirc.

They're not replacing RC cards. I'm sure we'll see PO RC cards, which are significantly better than single POs, but significantly worse than PO Pros... I mean... we've seen this all before, people. These Greats cards will be better than regular POs by a decent enough margin, and may or may not be better than RC cards.
