Hey Brad. Just a quick one around the choice of the Star card. Any reason why it's Lamar and not Kobe.

Odom in 2008 was the Laker's #2 guy all season. His numbers went down a little in the Playoffs, but in that season he was awesome. He deserved a Star card.


Kobe of course was the #1 guy, but he has 6 cards already. Kobe overkill to throw yet another card his way.


Why not Pau? He joined the Lakers mid-Season and he was injured for a bunch of it. Granted he was arguably the #2 guy in the Playoffs, but since I had given him a PnP card already for his Championship year, I thought it better to go with Odom.

I get everyone else's frustration with not having a draftable Kobe star card but you guys really missed the boat on a potential Adam Morrison star for that year lol. In all seriousness, please have a PO Kobe that's draftable when you guys add more PO cards

We really don't need another Kobe. Pau would be cool, but it may be hard to remember now, but Odom/Gasol were roughly equals on that year's Laker team.

I like that you can want to add some variation and have more players in the pool but in this circumstance where we were all hoping for the PO update and unfortunately due to Apple get the old format to see someone like Lamar as the Star was a disappointment to me.

It's like when my parents went to the states and I asked them to buy me a jersey ( they know I'm a lakers fan and a Kobe one) and I get a discounted Lamar Jersey. I got the same disappointed with this RTTC.

It would have been nice for something more than the normal RTTC as we didn't get the update. A Kobe or a dupe top reward.

P.s. There is no such thing as Kobe the overkill [emoji12]

I think you would have to add another letter into that PnP for Swaggy cause he doesn't fit into either Proven or Potential.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the purpose of the Playoff cards to have players that are actually in the playoffs?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but we've seen a Shaq PO card, and unless we're counting TNT coverage, he's not in this year's playoffs either.

Kobe wasn't a "Star" this year, but there are 3 Kobe Star cards currently out there... Kobe wasn't in the playoffs last year, but he had a PO card in 2k14.

I really don't understand what game some of you guys are playing, if you can't see where this is headed. Just like every single other tier before, PO tier will have new cards added every week, and you can bet there will be new Packs within the tier also.

If you can't see Finals MVP Packs, or something similar, coming a mile away (Kobe........), I don't know what to tell you.
