So get this. The final point cutoff was 5,705 points to make 1800 rank.

That was my point total.

I was given rank 1805.

Two arbitrary people with the same amount of points were ranked 1,799 and 1,800.

Seven others, myself among that number, were arbitrarily cut off and given the lower reward.

Disappointed to say the least. Would like to see this changed in the future.

i think that's a valid consideration...especially when the difference in reward is 1 star vs 1 playoff...i mean by that point it's just left to chance which side of the coin you fall on and i think that's really unfair especially as you mentioned 7 others were all in the same point total

That is a shocker. How hard is it to pay out ties the correct prize?

has NWGamedad or Brad ever clarified what happens when several people are tied right at the cutoff? Is it totally random, or is there a selection process involved when evaluating who gets the higher reward and who doesnt?

So is it a bug that they will correct if I report it? I feel exceptionally cheated.

If you can figure out a way to fix it, I'm sure the government could find a useful job for you. It's just how the servers work.
