Announcing MyNBA2K16 and MyNBA2K15 Loyalty Rewards

Lol played since the start of October and quit around playoff tier introduction. Have maybe 1 pro card. 25,000 games and probably close to $1,000 spent.

Basing the loyalty around playoff+ cards and not games is pretty redic imo.

Tier 1 should be 1 point.

I assume a playoff support counts as 1 point?

The "right" loalty reward system (rather than as now "Big spender reward System") should look something like this:

                >5000 QG = Maybe not all that loyal, but faithfull - Tier 0
<5000 QG = Regular player going on loyal - Tier 1
<10K QG = Now this looks like loyalty - Tier 2
<15K QG = Loyalty on the Rise - Tier 3
                <25K QG = Loyal....that's you! - Tier 4
                <50K QG = Extremly loyal - Tier 5
                <100K QG = That's insane, get a life - Tier 6
<150K QG = We recommend thearpy - No rewards - Try Rehab

Or some sort of blend. Maybe you could have points based on quick games, enhanced by the current Loyalty Rewards Points concept, combined with a lot of tiers. It could be calculated automatically to remove any cap, thus encouraging money spent without discouraging true loyalty.

In other words, maybe every 1000 games played gets you X points to spend on whatever you want in MyNBA2k16. E.g., a super rare would require X points and an ultra rare X2 points. Or a veteran contract would cost X points and star contract would be X2 points. So if I have 100k games played, I would have X10 points. Then adding my 38 PO points, would give me a decent chunk of change to work with. Numbers would need to be worked with, but that makes way more sense.

If you're really trying to help people build decks their own way, this is much better.
                  Great transactions: @penaguilherme, @rambaldi

Re: Announcing MyNBA2K16 and MyNBA2K15 Loyalty Rewards

This is just plain wrong. Firstly, the number PO cards doesn't show how much you play. If you had the game a long time and only play during events, you can get plenty of PO cards. Also, you can buy the damn things. (Which is what Cat Daddy are counting on, I suspect).

I've been playing for over a couple of months at least and in that time managed to amass 17 PO cards, but leveled up gradually and have a few Stars and Star Pros now, which don't count at all, and I have nowhere near enough points to qualify my 'loyalty'.

Yes, I agree, reward longstanding players who have invested a lot of their time, but reward EVERY longstanding player who has invested their time and money, not just those who have had it long enough to have played enough events to get POs!

Playing the game PROPERLY, climbing tiers through playing thousands of Quick Games – and I'm not talking using a 3-2 stacked deck to try and blitz through Rivals Clashes to get POs – should be rewarded, not just those who have done enough events. It really does suck, big time.

Could how much of the catalogue you complete be a viable metric for "loyalty"? Or would that still reward the scripters too much?

                        Everything rewards scripters.

I actually really liked the loyalty system last year where you count the stats of your 15 best cards. The rewards weren't great, but I loved how simple the system was.

                        This is my signature.

"MyNBA evolved into a completely uninspired cash grab, developed by people who clearly have no love for the game of basketball"

If people had patience and just played the game the way they originally wanted you to then MyNBA probably wouldn't have turned into the shameless money sink it is. But since people have too much time/money on their hands when it comes to these so called "mobile" games greedy developers program their games to take advantage of this.

It's just simple in my opinionn:

If you want to play, then play.
If you dont want to because of any reason, don't play.

complaining here is like talking to a wall specially as kolson said, the points were tallied ages ago. if you want to continue, just suck it up and play. nobody is forcing anyone to play. The irony is, lot of people are talking trash about the game yada yada but they still playing.
