We're still testing and figuring it out. Once we have that answer, we'll definitely bring it to you as soon as possible. That said, we're aware of the frustration with last year's rewards in regards to how many folks had the same ones.Comment

Lol I think 95% of us would have preferred the determination of loyalty rewards to stay the same like in last year's app....

Re: Announcing MyNBA2K16 and MyNBA2K15 Loyalty Rewards
I'm generally pretty positive about announcements, even though they rarely benefit me, but this is a bit absurd. I've been playing since release, and just hit Playoff QG tier yesterday. Without some sort of fix to the Auction House (lower the tax and/or remove the minimum price for non-Playoff cards), I kind of doubt I'm going to make it to even the 1st tier of rewards. Unless future events give even lower level players the chance to get multiple The Greats cards, I can't see anyone below me at all even making the first tier of rewards. And that's ridiculous. I understand making it tougher to get past the first or 2nd tier, but for once, I agree with everyone saying this isn't a "Loyalty" rewards program, this is a Cash Back rewards program. Only for people who spend the cash.
(If you're planning on making it possible for even lower level players to get multiple The Greats without grinding out an RC for 96 hours in a weekend, then you probably should've let us know that at the same time as this "big" announcement, so we wouldn't get all pissed off about it)Comment

.
Lastly, doesn't this really hurt the PO market? Everyone holding onto their PO cards, now I can't buy the dupe or certain card that I need. People has PO singles that they didn't need before and would sell at a good price, but now they will hang onto them for the extra point, and us poor people are left with out a means to get our card.
Cards will actually have value (!!!!), and the market can function properly.

It says the game's life isn't over.
This is clearly a mechanism to get us to play over the summer, which a lot of us wouldn't do otherwise.
They're going to make rewards structures going forward that allow for us to move up.
People overreact aroubd here ALL THE TIME, with little to no info. They said they're changing prize structures. I'm sure they'll be changed in a way that allows for this plan to work.
They gotta modify value for RCs though...

So for now, it's not an overreaction because it was a poor choice by CD to neglect any other information.Comment

Re: Announcing MyNBA2K16 and MyNBA2K15 Loyalty Rewards
This is a good thing for the market. The largest problem with the card market before is that there was too much supply and not enough demand. Now, that's gonna be flipped, in theory. More demand than suppl will push prices up, so we can finally stop with these nonsense buyback deals, and people offering their first-born as collateral.
