Reaching PO Tier without buying

I've got a question about reaching playoff tier in quick matches:


Some facts:

- Friend of mine got 5 fully trained playoff cards, but no pros or greats. He is not able to reach playoff tier in quick matches.
- When winning on star tier in a season, unlike on other tiers, you won't get a card of the next higher tier (playoff in that case) for winning the championship
- you won't get the same card twice via special events (rttc, rc)


So can anyone explain me, how I should be able to get into playoff tier without buying me a card to combine an existing card in the auction house?

Save the creds u win in star season to buy a dupe on ah or buy with buy back here but u will need to have 7500 creds first. Or 5 star pros will get u into po tier

Oh...Feelin stupid now, I never thought of that way... Yeah, you're right. 5 Star Pros should help. Still a long way...

I'm in the same boat: full PO lineup, no Pros, Star++ meter nearly filled. So I'm basically hoping for a dupe of one of my two Stars (Worm, Pressey) to get me there. I could buy one outright if my Epic Pros sold, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen.

Thanks dude, but I've only got 313 at the moment. I've got lots of training fodder -- maxed Legends and Epic Pros -- but they aren't moving on the AH so it's basically an automatic 100cr deduction every time I list them lol

dang okay epic pros won't sell unfortunately and only popular legend players sell like lebron durant melo kobe etc but if you do manage to scrape up some credits ill still have pressey for you

I've never put a dime into this game. I don't consider myself extreme about this game. Started playing with last years version.

Currently I have 5 PO pros, >25 single POs, 2 greats (could've had more but I'm not as into this game as I once was), and 12,000 creds. I just grinded in a few RCs early on and saved money from daily rewards. Made some nice sales when AH first opened and a few lucky ones since. Be super stingy with your money and put in time for a handful of the RCs and play every RTTC. I also was fortunate and played the market right (sold playoff cards when they were going for high prices the first hour, sold a bunch when AH first started, etc.).

I don't play RCs anymore and I only got the first two cards in the last RTTC because I was busy. So understand the economy if this game is not like the economy in real life. Credits are like diamonds no dollar bills. There is no constant flow of currency. And take advantage of opportune times to make money.

The one regret I have is not doing trades earlier. I've only started making trades in the forum a couple mos. ago. I use to just save and buy at minimum.

Hey guys, I'm new here so i cant make a thread. But I'm a spender with these kind of games and i'm wondering if it's worth it to play or even spend on this game. I've been reading a lot about cards being worthless in october?

What are your tips for me if i would spend a bit? Buy credits and buy cards of the market or do something else?

Would be very greatful for your advices and the things you did to start up with this game

just play for free until the next app comes out you could get plenty of good cards for free with the all PO events they have now
