You do realize that people can program scripts to play games once a minute continuously for hours to avoid spamming points and being caught right? And you also realize that it's not hard for scriptors to implement a pop up window the enter the security codes when they pop up. It's your job to stop that, way too many people have admitted to scripting in the past for you to make us think it doesn't exist any longer

1. Cheaters write script or find a way to exploit.
2. We find the hole, plug it, ban the cheaters we catch.
3. Cheaters find a new exploit or means to script around our change.
4. We put a new prevention in place.
5. Rinse repeat

It is never ending, so I will not claim to have rooted out *all* scripts and cheats. However, that doesn't mean we don't care and that we continuously fight the cheaters. We have been doing it for 2 years so we have killed a lot of the ways to cheat in the game. The effect cheating has on the overall experience for all of the players is fairly minimal at this point. But again, that doesn't mean we just have stopped fighting it. One thing that helps us are reports from all of you when you encounter a suspected cheater. Any evidence you can provide us help not only in stopping that cheater, but plugging whatever hole they were using to cheat. So please, keep sending in reports of cheating.

Unrelated but NWGameDad you guys should experiment with increased drop rates right now in this years game since it's ending soon! That'd be really cool/exciting

What will happen to our credits once the change happens?

MyNBA2K16 is an entirely new app. All of your Credits in '15 wil remain in '15 for you to spend and use in the game. MyNBA2K15 will continue to run. We just will not have new events in '15 after early September.

Thank you for that reply. Most of us have been under the impression that you think people cannot cheat. So as long as you know people are finding ways and making a big effort to stop it, I greatly respect that. I just hate knowing that if I miss the top 100 by 1-2 spots, I probably didn't make it cause of someone who scripted

So here's my thing:

"A lot" is always going to be relative. For you, 8hrs/$25 constitutes a lot. For somebody else, the split might be 20hrs/$250.

The problem is that all too often, Player A in this scenario still wants to get the EXACT same stuff that Player B gets, and that is so far beyond ludicrous, I cannot understand how a community full of people who seem to be generally intelligent otherwise, all seem to fall in line with this mindset.

Everything in the game operates relative to each individual's level of commitment to the game. Just be OK with what you're able to get, given your level of commitment. That seems like something you shouldn't have to tell smart people.

My deck is pretty good. It's not anywhere close to, say TeamTerminator... but that's OK. He plays way more than I do, and spends a lot more than I do. He should have a better deck.

I have played/paid enough for me to have the deck that I've been able to earn (without having to resort to all sorts of backdoor trading, and offering hj's with my cards in a buyback deal). No more, no less, and I'm OK with it. Why don't more people have this mindset?

Instead everyone wants it all, and is willing to crater the entire market with black market deals that make the entire game worse for everyone (themselves included).

If the game didn't reward more playing/paying, it wouldn't make any sense. Rewarding more paying/playing, also inherently means that less paying/playing means that you WON'T get some of the shiny things others are getting. Oh well. I'm also not giving up my entire life for a week to grind for a card. I say that's a great trade-off on my part. I'm OK with it. Other people should be too.

Honestly, it doesn't matter to me anymore. I have 7 POTG pros and have won my last ten seasons. I plan to play 2k15 until they shut off the servers. When playoff tier rolls around next year, I might play 2k16 if I'm still interested.

First of all, thank you for posting the dev diary. Could you, brad, or someone else do this please for the rest? I for one am optimistic about these changes into the game. I think this will make progression a bit harder and adds a lot of customization-ability to the game. Everyone doesn't need to make it to playoff tier and so far that is kind of what I hear a lot of complaining about. I for one consider myself a pretty serious player, with about 12k games played and no money spent. Obviously this is nothing compared to some on this forum, but had CD decided not to do these all-PO events, I MAYBE would have made PO tier on my own. It's natural for us all to want the best things, but the reality is we can't all have them. I for one will be trying my hardest in 2k16 but may not even make it past legendary tier. We'll just have to see when the game comes around.

In MyNBA2k15, there is some minigame along with the NBA2k15 (for PS4). Those minigame can earn VC Daily Credits and Bonus that helps my NBA2k15.

Would this happens in MyNBA2k16??

i think after 10000s of games nobody needs to see the cards bouncing anymore

unfortunately, i think it is there to make games a minimum number of seconds.
