New Tier Introduced To Loyalty Rewards

We're pleased to announce a huge change to the Loyalty Rewards program for MyNBA2K16. Starting now, the Loyalty program includes a new tier that dishes out rewards to anyone with at least 1,000 matches played in Quick Game. In other words, if you've played a thousand matches in MyNBA2K15's Quick Game component, regardless of your deck rating, you'll receive rewards when MyNBA2K16 launches this fall.

We've updated the graphic for the overall program to reflect this change:

We're also pleased to announce all the rewards for the Loyalty Program. Check out this graphic:

In MyNBA2K15, the Loyalty program focused exclusively on player cards. With MyNBA2K16, we wanted the program to empower you to customize your experience by not locking you into a "best deck" in the early game. We also wanted the program to speed up your progression and give you a jump start with Pro'ing and specializations.

Let's break down each of the potential rewards:
    • Pick Doubler - This is a perk that gives you what you think it does -- double picks off the draft board. Each tier has a number of hours attached to the doubler. The clock on the doubler begins when you claim your rewards.
    • Wild Cards - Wild cards can be placed in any of the slots of a Contract in order to fulfill the Contract needs. If you want to Pro a card with less cards, a Wild card is a great way to do that.
    • Level Up Cards - Based on feedback, we're introducing Level Up cards into MyNBA2K. If you use one on a card, that card will gain a significant amount of XP.
    • Ability Cards - Adds an Ability to a player card. Has limited charges once placed.
    • Specialization Upgrade Cards - Raises the quality of a specialization to the next quality level
    • Contracts - Used to create Pros. Each rarity of contract requires a different amount of cards to make the Pro. The better the contract, the less cards you need.

If you have any questions or comments, fire away. Also, just so you know, we're doing a post next week on the MyNBA2K16's cards and specifically chatting about Specialization and Ability cards.

Sorry, but the difference between the stages (especially 3rd and 4th) is ridiculous.... Stage 4 is more than DOUBLE the points of stage 3, yet the rewards are nowhere near as good as they should be...

The difference from someone on stage 4 with someone on stage 3 is 2 wild cards, 5 uncommons, 3 rares, 3 SRs, 1 upgrade, 1 star contract, 8 hours of pick doubler....

That is ridiculous. Change them while there's still time....
              Bring Romar back!!!

I was thinking the same thing. Was hoping for special cards as well because I'm assuming u can purchase most of these awards from a pack in mynba2k16.

From my understanding of the game so far, the Star Contract is actually a fairly big deal.

The other stuff.. I can't really speak on. I don't know what that stuff is really. Doesn't seem like much..
