Yesterday, we pushed out a message to everyone congratulating the player Bighen on being the first member in the Skybox Elite Club, and letting everyone know that Bighen became the owner of a special Michael Jordan MVP card. But we know this prompted questions about what is Skybox? How do you get in? What do you get? So, time for some answers...
All players can become Skybox Elite Club members by winning the Championship in the highest tier Season game. Right now, that is a Legendary Season. When you win a Legendary Season you will be welcomed to the Club. There are no other requirements, and whether you have spent money or not, as long as you win that Season you'll become a member.
Once a member, a special "Skybox" button in the Auction House will become unlocked. When you tap on that button you get to go to the Skybox Auction House area where special auctions are available to members for bidding. The auctions are placed up by Cat Daddy and only Skybox members can bid on them.
The auctions will vary quite a bit, but in general they will be for special cards that are only available through the Skybox, or cards that are difficult to acquire through other means. Sometimes there will be only one card available, sometimes several. It just depends on what we place there each week. Generally the auctions will last an entire week giving ample time for bidding. Most of the time they will end on Sundays at 6pm PST. New auctions will go up on Mondays.
This week's Skybox auction is an MVP Michael Jordan, different than Bighen's card which is unique. So if you've won a Legendary Season be sure to go check it out.
