I keep seeing all these stories of people wasting tons of RP on extras packs to get wild cards, are they really worth it? Or should I just try to buy cheap dupes on the AH? Speaking for Leg cards of course.

It depends what you are buying the packs for. To dupe a normal leg that you have? No, not worth the risk. Buy the dupe off AH. But in order to dupe RC or MVP generally there is no other choice.

I buy them to dupe rc reward not reg leg. I open over 100k to get 1 wild. But before that 50k for 1 wild. Its just luck

Maybe CD can confirm but I swear they lowered the drop rate. The first week of the game I was getting them in packs around 50%. Now it's really lowered.

It made sense when legs were going for 100k a pop, but now that they're timing out at 38k... I'm saving mine for RC cards / RTTC / season rewards etc that are un-proable from the AH.

I advise you to buy a contract pack to guarantee a star contract and buy the card you want to dupe in AH. That's when we are talking about leg or future higher tier cards.

I bought 5 star contract packs to eliminate the need for so many wild cards. I figured it'll be useful once star tier gets here

Until now 110 packs 10 wild, and lately % of hits is getting worse

I'm kind of thinking about that too. I have 1 star contract waiting and 6 wildcars. Thinking of maybe buying 5 more star contracts so I would be able to pro the first 6 stars I get.

I bought a couple of star contracts, too, for my first two legs. Say what you want, but they made some smart 'how to make more money' decisions.

Yes, there is a huge drop. I bought 30 packs now, and didn't get any wild card.
In the past I would get 1 every 5-10 packs.

I've been getting about 4 per 100k spent, sounds like I was just lucky, last time I spent 65000 and got 2 wilds on my last 2 packs

From my experience, the average cost of obtaining a Wild Card through buying an Extra Pack is 25k.

Oh, and for the guys who think it got worse: My first 10 packs didn't get me a WC. My last 10 got me 4.

yes I get 1 every 4 packs. got 6 today with only 50k spent.
