Lol, I know it's impossible for me to get a legendary card even through hardcore button mashing (unlike RC where I have a realistic chance), so I won't bother with RTTC. Maybe just play very casually for the 8 cards and play at +2 points.

But meh, there are enough people out there willing to spend money, so CD does not have to bother with the free-playing crowd. It IS a freenium game after all.

Idk exactly what Jaysinseason was referring to, but there are apps that can give you as much RP or credits you want for free. Seen it on Twitter but I'd never risk the ban. Plus I enjoy building my squad up from grinding

I am willing to spend money. But I need a reason to do so, and this RttC just doesn't do it for me. I'm sure plenty of people have RP to burn and will be able to get Kareem, but there seemed to be so many better ways to hype up users for the event and it felt like such a letdown. I hope there's something to look forward to in the future.

To pro Bird and Kareem, I'll need both a Star contract and wild card for each.

I don't understand. Can't you pro Kareem with just two wildcards?

I wouldn't be surprised if TBT and Rookie Star cards are auctionable by game's end. Just a matter of when, not if -- you know, for those people that have to collect them all like Pokemon or something.

The bigger question is if they're going to make these auctionable while the top tier cards are still viable when the new tiers come out. And I'm sure there will be new theme packs released around the same time.

Glad to see that they made MJ-1985 useful for probably at least 25% of the crowd (who are in Epic/UR QG tiers, maybe top tier players using this MJ as a burn card in RC or something). Gives hope that additional MJs will be released in future events (rather than be pack & Skybox exclusives).

For me, Kareem, Larry and Magic from this RTTC will probably remain in my RTTC squad for the remainder Legendary events as main cogs, and most if not all of Star events in 16-25 spots. This allows me to sell auctionable Leg Pros to get some dough for extras packs and prep for Star tier.

The hustling (playing AH and packs) and grinding is what keeps me going. Doing what I can to compete with the "whales" with Foil MVP & Event cards in seasons is a fun challenge outside of real life. Plus, Bucks Lew Alcindor/Kareem is still possible in future events!

Yeah, but I don't have 4 WC and, even if I did, I certainly wouldn't use 4 on another center and a TT.
