Team training cards for me?

In the last two weeks, I've had two guys from the same team send me a "Team Trainer in the House" message and one of my cards in my exhibition deck has been leveled up all the way. What the hell is this? I'm not on their team and didn't want either card leveled up as it unbalanced my deck. (One was the epic giveaway from the epic event..) I'm only in SR++ and it really screwed things up. Is this common? If so, it's pretty annoying that someone can just train my card without my consent.

Edit: I also should state that I'm sorta new to the game, did the epic event but barely played until recently so I'm trying to keep my deck balanced. Thanks!!

My guess is that you are on a team and they claimed the trainer perk. You cannot give someone not on your team a perk.

I never knowingly joined a team though. That's the thing that's confusing me. I got a message from them telling me to join, but I never noticed it until tonight when I noticed the training messages.

With out knowing the circumstances I have to assume you got an invite from them and accepted it with out really knowing what you were clicking on.

Sadly, that isn't the case either. I'm a heavy player of WWE Supercard, so I'm fairly familiar with teams and how to join them. I had never even checked my inbox until last night, when I noticed the three messages, the request to join their team was unread. One guy had the trainer message on 2/5/2016 and then the owner did another trainer at midnight on Valentine's Day. I emailed support because I know for a fact that I was never a part of this team and something really strange is going on.

I assume these people found me because I joined a SR season. The two players that requested I join, had a deck full of SRs and the one Epic, so I must have ran into them then? Their team name was also complete jibberish. I deleted the message but the team was something along the lines of "FjFJfjFJfj". It's just really strange, I know I probably come off like a crazy person or some noob who doesn't know what he's doing, but I can say without a shadow of a doubt that I never joined this team.

Hopefully support can help me figure out what happened.

ahhaa no, it sounds like a bug then. Good luck. I hope that's not a thing.

There is another bug. And it relates to trainer as well. We kicked players off of our team(temporarily) to claim the trainer perk. And it did not show them on the team. We claimed the perk, and it trained their cards. So maybe it's similar bug. This just happened this morning.

Yeah.. I hope it's not a bug. Thanks for your help. I'll post whatever their response is whenever they get to it. It annoyed me because I really wanted to keep the Epic low leveled until I built up my team some more and now that's out the window. So stupid if this is the case.
