I guess I've been lucky, plus I haven't played many seasons since Greats dropped. I'm hoping I don't run into any. I think I'll play one more season before I retire altogether from them. I have some untrained PO pros so I can sandbag my way into a winnable season.

I don't necessarily agree with it either but just think about it.

If I were to spend hundreds or thousands of dollars (have never spent a penny) in this game and got myself a full season lineup of 15 potg pros I would most certainly make the money spent worth it. I wouldn't throw away all that cash and never play the game again. I would still play the game, but as chris said there would be no point in spending time to play rc or rttc when those cards don't even make my season lu. Instead I would play seasons and btc. It my not be fair to others but I spent all of that money so I deserve an advantage in those game modes.

Many other people that spend money think this way. They don't want their spent money to go to waste.

I know that there are some people that do it just so others can't win or because they "need" the 8k rp (lol yeah right), but I'm sure there are many others who think like I do (if I spent all that money).

I was never disagreeing with that being a valid point, I just find it to be pathetic that if they were in their position they would do the same. Personally I would not and who knows maybe that's one of the reasons I would never buy POGs. That and the price. As Godzilla stated above. After you get those cards the game would seem to be pretty boring.

So it seems we've pretty much come to the conclusion that people who purchased greats and play seasons just did it to flaunt their money...... At least that how it seems like it's coming of to me.

Funny thing is if they gave a response of something like, "I am getting bored and had nothing better to do," I may have found that to be a better response than, "I needed the RP". Lol

Also, this discussion made me realize how utterly pointless POGs are since its end game and there is no way to improve your deck any longer.

Just went back and checked his lineup because I'm curious how many POGs he actually has. I was able to see at least 6. 5 from his top 10 and 1 more I saw in game against me.

That is an insane amount of money spent.

Yeah they exist, pulled from my first pack pulled two more packs got jack ****.
Tbh would've taken a 100% POTG over how this pack was structured. And hell no I didn't spend the 6k+ each, bought it during the first sale. Kinda wish I never bought POTG packs even tho I love David Robinson.

How many do you have? I went in with 3 untrained and I still got matched against people with cards like AF54 above. I think his worst card in the season is a TBT Horry.

Same here - I actually had one season where this wasn't the case. I´ve won that one, while I had single legendaries in my Line up. But since then I am running into paying player after paying players.
And even if you finish first or second in the season, there are always two or three chinese players which you can't avoid + a few more with Great pros.

I completely get what you're saying. Let's be real, when it comes down to it for many people it's really all about how big your d%*@ is. Spending all that money is about ego and I understand. Calling yourself a "winner" or the "best" is reason enough for some people to spend large amounts.

My issue is not with that. My issue is with them saying its for 8k RP. If they told me that it would be an insult to my intelligence. He was asking because of real curiosity because he (and I) didn't understand what the motivation is. Just say "I like to win" and don't give me this 8k RP BS if that's the reason. Part of the reason I would say well let me buy a card from u to call their BS bluff reason.

My 2nd ever no hot streaks bought top 100 RC finish was a success!

I barely even played today!

The thing is I have no wilds to pro him.... Last year when I came top 100 (also no HS) I got a pro rc Hibbert. Now I get a single rc Klay, yay! Over the course of rc I spent about 100k on extras packs and got no wilds. I have also not drafted any wilds in over 8000 games..... Going to buy a couple more extras packs now.. Hopefully I'll get 2 wilds to pro him...

Yeah I've had a lot of resets so far (16) and that was my first support. I was kind of mad because I was wishing my streak of players continued lol. But it's nice to have a more powerful support.

Just opened 3 more and got none

I'm saving the rest of my rp to finish the finals rttc this week. Any leftover rp and I'll buy more extras packs.
If I get none I'll be taking a break from the game lol
