So I have 3 Pro Elite cards and 2 Pro EP Cards. None are event rewards and I still feel a far ways off away from getting Star tier. How can I get that last 2/3 needed to reach the next tier?

Buy the 'Enormous Credit Pack' through the mynba2k18 app for around the cost of two retail copies of NBA 2K18. Then proceed to the card store section of the game. Once you are there, try your luck opening packs at unknown disappointing odds.

If you are unwilling to try the above advice grind away until you finally get your desired star cards only to realise they are obsolete due to new tier coming out.

I have 3 elite pros and 1 elite foil pro and that still doesn't reach, so you're going to need 2 more elite pros

Nah I played like 3 games then got bored, I don't think I'll be playing Rivals Clash again. Next event I will probably go for the star.

Can confirm that without any foils or event cards, Reg Star + 3 Elite Pros + 1 EP Pro does not get you to star tier.

Made it by putting in 4 regular elite pros, 1 foil epic prime pro
