Re: Blacktop Challenge
Thank you for the clarification. It must really be that weaker decked players stopped playing and the other players are getting better then.Comment

Re: Blacktop Challenge
Quite the anomaly that his 5 best cards after PG13 are regular star pros and regular legend pros. The fact that there are no event cards lead me to believe that he doesn't grind... yet BTC arguably requires the most amount of grinding to get any reasonable chance of drafting a star BTC card...Comment

Re: Blacktop Challenge
Not saying it's impossible. Just baffling. Chances are incredibly low at basic. And will requires at least 4 hours of 1st place finishes.
If it was super, then it would take at least 24 hours of 1st place finishes. And as stated, his card collection doesn't seem like the grinding type.Comment

Re: Blacktop Challenge
Why kick people for being inactive when you designed the game to make it where that is one of the best strategies?Comment

They don't want people joining and not playing just to get 10 BRP also unless you can play 7 games to win round 1 that strategy doesn't work from people that tried it against meHiComment

Re: Blacktop Challenge
I try to score as much as I can every round, really winning the 1st round is the biggest key cause it sets you up to win rounds 3 and 5 alsoHiComment

Re: Blacktop Challenge
I've been winning while only using 2 or 4 energies tops.
If you're interested in this, you need at least 12 star pros.
After the first win, don't energize. If you don't like your lineup intentionally lose against the whatever you think the strongest deck is and scout their deck.
Sometimes I've lost as many as 3 times to reset some of my Leg pros into star pros.
No matter what happens after round 2, don't energize! if you lost a few those cards will have higher energy. And that, should allow you to beat up on #2 or #3 for points.
Round 4 I try to win with 0 energy used. By now I know which deck I can beat and if it's truly impossible I'll use 3 energies on my best 3 cards.
Going into the final round if it's close I might energy but actually if you finished #1 in round 4, #3 or #4 should still offer you the same points yet vary heavily in their strength.
I've been winning very close ones, by less than 15 points, some I don't energize at all if my deck is clearly better and I have all star pros.Comment

Re: Blacktop Challenge
When I say low cards, I mean regular stars for my ASG/HOF ect.
but ALSO, because when you swap a card from losing or not finishing first, it comes with full energy. And since round 1 is just +6 or +7 or +7 points off of 1point victories, it doesn't make much sense to use an energy card on that.
So just keep in mind since cards come fully energized (adjusted to your % cap) it's very possible to finish first while using a few energy cards. This strategy maybe isn't the best if you have an entire deck of stars prod and live for it.Comment
