I'm currently in a team with a bunch of OS members (mostly retired haha) and sometimes we barely have enough for 1 team to get Good Agent during Rttc and recently we had an excess of members - but because we have 2 teams not everyone can get GA because the points weren't enough on the 2nd team. A lot of us are in different time zones so it's understandable that even the claim time of GA is hard to make it work for everyone. Let's not forget that "life happens" so not every REASONABLE team member can commit to playing every single Event. And in that instance it would be nice to have 1 or 2 or 3 replacement (temporary) members who can contribute points. Rather than those points going to an inactive team or fall short of points. Act like subs, and of course those "free agent subs" get the GA instead.
I'm sure a lot of you encountered this problem with the team you're so my proposal is very simple:
TEAM MEMBERS: IF you have team that needs help for Rttc for a particular week that is short on points... Post here. Tell how many members you need, etc and be open to when you usually claim GA (I'm sure that is also a factor whether to join a team or not)
FOR Example: Team X needs 3 players this week that can get the 1st PO card. We claim GA at 11am Eastern on Tuesday. etc.
FREE AGENT SUBS: Post your lineup, or at the very least indicate how far your deck can go/how far you got last Rttc. If a team needs you to get at least the 1st or 2nd PO card, don't sign up to that team if your deck isn't strong enough. Also mention what timezone you are in.
With this arrangement semi-casual players or semi-retired players can pick and chose when to go far in RTTC and have a shot a GA. There is also no commitment or no strict demands to play consistently every week.
If you don't like a team, you're free to leave AFTER the event. Don't leave a team scrambling for points during an event. Likewise who knows you might like a team and end up staying there. Just like the trade threads last year, maybe we can review how a team is/how a free agent is. etc
And perks aren't limited to Good Agent (that's just the top prize). There also +1, foiler, Tonight is Game Night refill (very helpful) etc.
