Re: PC requirments?
Hey guys, I'm getting 2k12 for the PC this year around rather than on console. Just wanted to know, do the recommended settings make the graphics look similar or better than its console counterpart? I'm building a PC within the next two weeks and just wanted to know whether I should overdo it or just do medium settings across the board.
Excited to use mods again! Haven't played a PC NBA game since maybe NBA Live 2005, lol.Comment

Re: PC requirments?
I'd definitely at least go with the recommended settings. They aren't "that" tough to get. It's not a stressing game, but if you want to use mods, definitely go with the recommended settings. Welcome back to the dark side.
Oh, and it'll look better, more crisp than the console counterparts. A LOT.Twitter - WTF_OS

..... And when WTF says A LOT he's not just slinging hyperbole
This card might be out of your price range but it man-handles 2k11 with no problems at 1080p, you don't need a card this powerful but it gives you the option of playing all the other big titles being released this holiday at a respectable level.

Re: PC requirments?
I see that I have passed most of the minimum requirements, so my question is it enough to look as good as console versions or even better?Attached Files'Only The Strong Survive'Comment

Re: PC requirments?
There is 2k11 on a similar machine. It's a laptop, not a great quality gaming card, but it will play. It won't look as good as 360 or ps3 however.Twitter - WTF_OS

Re: PC requirments?
:-( Guess I'll stick with the PS3 version this year. I was very eager to see what could be made of 2K12 on PC this year.'Only The Strong Survive'Comment

Re: PC requirments?
After playing the PS3 demo, I'm pretty interested in what it will look like on PC as well. I was a bit underwhelmed when I saw the PS3 version. I don't recall 2K11 being that ugly, but it's probably because I'd been playing the PC version for the past year. Resolution is huge for me, and when you play at 60fps constantly, I can't stand seeing less.Comment

Re: PC requirments?
Times are hard now bruh :o but anyways I searched the web and saw a video of someone with the same card playing NBA 2k11 on max settings and it looked better than Xbox. And my processor was 2x his so I think I'll be fine
