oh i agree that they're lean, and def leaner than 2k portrays them. but the mod is just too overdone IMO especially considering the thick bodies they use. i've seen a few others with similar intentions so perhaps my view on it is the minority. either way to each his own whatever makes the game more enjoyable, just not my cup of tea.

Re: NBA 2K12 PC Modding (Links to Mods)
Exactly. It's not for everyone, like stated a few posts back, but I think it's about as close as you can get, with what's given, IMO.
Could be that I've looked at the standard 2k bodies for what, 10 years now, with no change in their stature, and it's driving me crazy at this point.
Like this pic:
Spoiler
Even Z-bo has the lean look.
Like I said, it's definitely not for everyone. I think I translated some of the people on the ali123 forums that didn't like it
Overall, I think it's great. The only thing I don't like, is that you have to use edited headshapes, which severely limit what cyberfaces you can use.Twitter - WTF_OS

Re: NBA 2K12 PC Modding (Links to Mods)
I think we need post-patch superglobals.Replacing the default global.iff with an old one gives me the old gameplay with slow passes etc.wtf.How is that possible?Does global.iff contain gameplay elements?Comment

Re: NBA 2K12 PC Modding (Links to Mods)
Gameplay elements as far as I know are in the EXE and gamedata.iff files. I don't know about any gameplay elements being in the globals.
Dammit, making the superglobal from scratch will require a lot of work if that's true.Eleftherios "Leftos" Aslanoglou

Superglobal Codename Moose v2.6.1 main file + TNT full pack released!
First version to feature a shadow mod by default, I'm using SeanJohn1414's Shadow Mod 3, and in combination with the latest progressive sweat by Michaelvlutz49, the result is sexier than ever.
I won't flood this thread with images, you can visit the Screenshot Gallery for that.
Visit its thread over at NLSC to see what downloads are available and grab the one that suits you the best.Eleftherios "Leftos" Aslanoglou

But I think the dark spots could be a bit darker overall for more contrast.
Edit: Wow, you have a huge bunch of mods at nlscComment

Re: NBA 2K12 PC Modding (Links to Mods)
Any suggestions regarding the shadow mod should be posted in the Global Editor thread over at NLSC where we're trying to find the perfect settings for the shadow mod.
Post your suggestions there, and maybe someone will get around to making the shadows work for you.
And yes, I do have a bunch of tools and mods there. My first year as a modder, and I've tried to do everything I can to help the community.Eleftherios "Leftos" Aslanoglou

Re: NBA 2K12 PC Modding (Links to Mods)
Actually it looks very good as it is. Maybe its my graphics card's drivers settings or my screen but it looks darker and has more contrast than I though it would have.
The texture updates on the players also look very nice, I'll keep itComment

What are you guys doing for draft classes? I'd like to get some without the hotzone glitch and I don't want to use 2k's default ones (unless they have gotten better with the patch).Comment

are there any mods that improve gameplay and make it so the computer doesn't cheese, and make team mates play better when you have player lockComment
