Re: NBA 2K12 PC Modding (Links to Mods)
I don't know if anybody has seen this yet.
NBA 2K12 Cyberface Manager
It allows you to import cyberface for created players. Works wonderfully.
Now my question is; Is there a cyberface tutorial someone can point me to? I've been piecing stuff together. I'm already familiar with the cyberface texture importer. So I can actually open files and edit them in photoshop. I used that program to edit the rookies skin color when the arms were all dark black.
This is what I'm trying to do. I want to take Austin Daye's face and give him Brandon Jennings' hair cut. I'm not familiar with head shapes. I've been experimenting, but it seems like I'm missing some stuff.
Any feedback would be appreciated. In the meantime I hope I stumble across something on my own.
Edit: I ended up using this tutorial. It works, but I need to iron out some kinks.

Edit 2: My whole reason for doing this is the fact that I like to create fictional players for 4-6 teams and to try and rebuild them (usually the worst teams in each division). Something I started doing in all my fantasy franchises as long as I can remember. It's just created players look terrible compared to the real guys. Anyway, this is what I ended up with. The future of the Clevland Cavs.Last edited by Mr.Wednesday; 12-22-2011, 10:23 PM.PSN: PhiNuPi

Re: NBA 2K12 PC Modding (Links to Mods)
Thanks. I've always just downloaded the stuff you and the other modders make. Once I figured out which file determined head shape it made sense. I tried a few different combinations. It was actually pretty fun to see the possibilities.PSN: PhiNuPi

Re: NBA 2K12 PC Modding (Links to Mods)
First post here guys. I just bought NBA 2k12 off of Amazon, for a great price. Now this is my first NBA game for PC, and the mods look great, but there are so many of them. If you guys could please give me the ESSENTIAL mods, the ones you find the very best to use for this game. I usually only play Association mode. A quick list of what you think are the best mods to download would be great. It would help me enjoy the experience.Comment

First off, I downloaded this:
It unlocks a bunch of stuff from the settings files (all the classic teams, unis, Jordans, and other stuff).
Next is the special uniforms:
It adds textures for some unis unlocked in the first link.
NBA TV mod
Courts:
I use a few courts from Push.
download page for some other courts.
Enhanced skin mod by tneck:
Dornas (4 led packs and one other):
Jerseys:
Pzea's jerseys pack:
Shoes: Go to the link and use any shoes authored by MLLR.
BShodows

Se7six's shot clock mods are top notch also. His mods are in this thread also.
That's the main ones I use to update the look of the game. People are still updating a lot of stuff. So a lot of stuff is still incomplete. Cyberfaces are a personal preference. These mods don't change gameplay. And this is just my opinion. You may try some of these mods and think they are terrible. Just remember to make back up copies of the files you change.Last edited by Mr.Wednesday; 12-24-2011, 08:32 AM.PSN: PhiNuPi
