Random Freezing

I constantly experience a random 1-2 second freezing whenever I play NBA 2k12 and it really does annoy me a lot. I hope someone could help me on this. Thanks!

I have the exact same issue. All other games play well.
Also it freezes regardless of settings.

Same problem. I've tried playing around with a bunch of different settings but no luck so far.

i've also experienced this, but a restart of my laptop fixed it

I fixed the issue on my system. The windows firewall was preventing the game from connecting to the 2k servers so I think it was freezing every time it tried to connect/reconnect while I was playing.

Even if you don't intend to play online you may want to check that it can connect. Go to the online area...tell the game you're under 13 if you really don't want an online account but still want it to be able to connect to prevent the freezing.

I found a way to get rid of the microfreezes. I just turned off the 2kbeats and since I did not experience those random freezes again..
