C2D Fix

Has anybody found a fix to the game crashing to desktop problem?
My specs are more than good enough to play the game and I have Vista, it worked fine the first time I ran the game but the next day it stopped working.
I know some of you guys have sent emails and tweets, have you gotten a responce to them or have you heard that a patch is coming to fix the problem?

Btw I have searched around on google for 2 hours and tried every solution and troubleshoot I could come across, none of them helped so don't bother posting links to that troubleshoot site or telling me to try it on Windows 95 compatability etc.

I read your other thread. It's because you played My Player mode. Some people report crashes after playing My Player. I haven't read anything about 2K addressing the issue yet. Have you tired to uninstall and re-install the the game? Make sure all the old files associated with 2K12 are deleted, but this time wait to play My Player until 2K releases a fix.

No I haven't tried reinstalling cause I read on some forums that people tried that but it didn't help at all so that's why i'm hoping some of the people that wrote to Ronnie might have gotten an answer back or found info as to when a patch might come out cause I really want to playthis game

And no I don't have any mods installed, I just played some classic matches to get into the game, played a little my player mode, worked fine all day, the next day the crashes started and I have tried every possible solution that google gave me without any luck, but I can try reinstalling the game when I come home later

Make sure you delete all the files in your save games directory. They are located in a different folder separate from the game install location. It may be a case where uninstalling only deletes the game data. It may save the My Player progress in one of these files, thus causing the CTD to still occur. It's located in C:\users\[user name]\AppData\Roaming\2K Sports\NBA 2K12\Saves.

Well I found of this, just deleting that save file didn't help, reinstalling the game did help, I played a few legend matches, but for fun I tried to play My Player again and the same happened, got through the showcase, interviews, draft and the first match, BOOM, crashed again, after that I couldn't go into options, rosters, creating, music playlist without the game crashing again, I hope a patch comes soon.
