    xbox 360 controller problem

    Dear NBA2k12 fans,

I humbly seek the help and advice for my nba2k12 game. After purchasing the pc version of this game i decided to also buy a 360 controller (black one) and try the game with a joystick rather than keyboard. Unfortunately i have run into a problem in which case when there is collisions or even during the free throws, the controller begins to rumble, and then it never stops rumbling and i lose complete control of the joystick. The only way to stop it from rumbling and regaining control again, is to unplug the device and then plug it back in. However, this scenario can happen again very soon, and sometimes upwards to ten-fifteen times a game which makes this game somewhat less enjoyable.

I'd really like to get this issue resolved if there is some way. I've tried searching the internet (google) and forums, and i've tried registering in 2k forums, but they wouldn't let me post. And so you guys are my last resort.

    Thank you

Hmm...not sure what would cause that. You might want to reinstall the device drivers for your controller. I once had an issue with my wired one (different game) and that resolved it for me.

Also, if you are using a wireless controller, it's best to make sure you turn it on before you fire up the game. It can reduce chances of running into problems as well. Every 2K game I've played on PC has had intermittent minor issues with wireless controllers if they are turned on after the game is started up.

That's all I can think of, unless you just got a bad controller. It shouldn't be the game as I've used both a wired and a wireless with it no problem.

I have the same problem. If you have wireless one you can take out the battery. For wired one I havent found any solution. If you press x button the menu wont appear and you cant switch rumble off. What I did...... I just get used to it and its not a problem anymore. Also vibrations are not that intense. Its present at free throws and in the post game and sometimes on hard collision. I never had to unplug it, the vibrations are one off and not constant. Also download latest drivers from http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en...er-for-windows
