NBA 2K12 My Player FPS Problem

Ok so I run an i5 CPU 760 2.8 GHz and a GTX 260 2.6GB memory graphics card!
I play all games on very high or high with no problems or lag!
Same as NBA 2K12 when it comes to quick matches but when I play on "My Player" things change alot!
Ok I tested it today the game starts off at 60 FPS then it drops till the end of the game to around 28... why is this happening every game is the same
Starts off just fine and then it starts lagging and this annoys me so much because I am a person who gets pissed off when a game lags...
IDK if there is a post like this one but I really need help anyone please suggest something, oh and I thought it was because of my windows or smt
I had windows 7 ultimate 32 bit
Just Installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit the same problem...please anyone help me!
P.S. Running 4GB so I shouldn't have problem with my pc specs at all!

Same issues with both video cards I've had bro. I think a patch is needed.

I have found many times that drops in FPS in games can be attributed to overheating of your CPU or video card...which usually occur after the system has been 'taxed" a while.

I have found many times that drops in FPS in games can be attributed to overheating of your CPU or video card...which usually occur after the system has been 'taxed" a while.

I am having the same issue with my system running at a cool 34C.
