I have an i5 @ 2.3 and a geforce 540m with 6 gigs of ram and I can run the game on high without AA @ 50 fps.

You should definitely be able to run it on low-medium settings.

make sure that your nvidia gpu is being used over the integrated one on your sandy bridge -- i read someone using xps 15 having the same problem as you, on windows 7.

wondering the same thing, i have a new system and still laggs at times
intel2500k i5 3.30ghz ( have a backup intel 2600k i7, debating whether to place that in my rig)
asus p 67 sabethooth
8 gb ram cosiar dominance
amd shapphire hd 6950 2gb

dont know why game still lags

OMG I love you!!! The Auto-Select graphics processor in Nvidia used integrated graphics for some weird reason.. wow this game is 10x better now. God bless.
