    Association Scrimmage Playbook Solution!

Not sure this has been addressed or not, but I noticed in association mode's intra squad scrimmage, I had to use the standard playbook instead of my teams play book. by default its filled with the San Antonio Spurs plays.

I couldn't find any solution so I just made my own. To get around this load up your association, go into your coach profile, and set your playbook to "standard playbook".

Next go into gameplan -> edit offense.

what you're going to do is replace these plays with whatever team's playbook you are using.

This process is actually pretty quick. Just make sure you have atleast 2 of each play type and you can start from the top, and replace each play as you go down.

Then when you are done, go back into your coach profile and set the playbook back to your teams playbook. Now go and run a scrimmage

    Hope this helps.

Standard Playbook is actually a playbook. It's the same as User 1 and User 2 and that is what is used in not only scrimmages, but also MyPlayer Mode.

FYI. You just need to edit the Standard and/or User playbooks as far as I've seen.

Ya I guess I'm describing it for more casual gamers like myself.

I couldn't find any threads on work arounds, so I figured I might put it up so if anyone else wonders why they don't have the correct playbook when they run a scrimmage. If it is general knowledge then my bad on the thread.

Also changing the standard playbook in the main menu doesn't trickle down into any modes already created, so if you don't want to start over, you have to do it within the specific mode you are playing.

If you change the Standard playbook before starting a new Game Mode file, then does that playbook transfer?

        If not, then that's absurd.

lol it does. if you change it on the main screen, you change the default. Any new game mode you create will use those settings from that point on.

It doesn't transfer into the modes you created before changing the default playbook. That's why in my case, I had to do it from within the association mode.

YES! Thank you both for explaining how to do this. I really hope when the patch comes out this is fixed.
