Anyone else have a problem with the game constantly saying your previous 2k account expired and you need to make a new one?

nope. did you get the validation email after you made your acct? i think you have to validate the acct within 24 hrs of creation or it expires. see if you can log in here: http://www.nba2k.com/

Yep, I did this. Twice. Each time I get off the game and then start it back up it asks me for it. Worked for the first 5 days I had bought the game but now it is doing it. I validated my first two.

As of today the NBA Today games still say the 16th and aren't updating anymore...

I even reset the password and sent for another verification email...

WTF happened, is 2k abandoning the PC version after the patch.

I could never log in with a previous account. I think I have 3 2K accounts already because that's the only way I can log in online to download something on 2K Share.

Yeah I've requested a million times for account verification and still nothing...to see if it would reset..old games still on the NBA Today..pissing me off.

I know this doesn't belong here but i need to know If there is a fix for the low graphics bug when playing online on pc. Its still low graphical settings even after the patch from steam.

System is a mess man. Sometimes when I hop on to play it keeps taking me to create a new account screen. I can't log back in with an old one and I can't quit the registration. I have to force quit the game, turn off my Internet connection on the PC and restart 2K12. What the hell...

I had the issue where it keep requiring me to enter my birthday, login, and create a new player everytime I started after the patch. I solved it by deleting everything in each folder of \Users\***\AppData\Roaming\2K Sports\NBA 2K12 except my profile, associations, and my player in the Saves folder. Ever since then the game no longer requires me to do the login thing.

just tried this and it worked for me. i put files back in 1 by 1 and atleast for me, it was the settings file. i had jaosmings unlock all file from justa fter launch that i had just edited over as needed.

other people having the issue try this out and let us know if it worked for you. if it does we've atleast fouund a fix for it and can spread the word in the community for the people still having the issue.

just want to say that this worked for me. it is the settings file that has everything unlocked.

You can also do this.

After creating an account, go to the game options and save your game settings and profile, of course overwrite them if it asks you to.

Let me get this straight, you say delete everything in the appdata saves folder except your profile, assoc, and my player? What about the rosters, do I have to delete those too? I wouldn't want to do that since I have all the players on their correct teams.

all you should need to delete is your settings file.
