Well.... I just deleted the settings file in the appdata folder and went back to restart the game, it had me to sign in to account again. This is annoying.

I did sign in the first time. What are you saying? After deleting the settings file, and rebooting, I still have to sign in to play.

Is there any reason why you can't use the 2k online roster as that is correct for the most part? I deleted everything except my profile, player, and association but setting should work. If you delete everything, it takes awhile because it has to re-download certain things such as shoes.

Still not working for me. I don't know why it's not working for me, but works for others.

Just move the entire 2k folder to another location and try with a fresh slate. If that works, either just continue with that fresh state or you could try and slowly move a file back one by one to figure out which one is causing the issue. Other then that, I have no other suggestions.

It was doing that for me after the patch, but not anymore..

What I did is after logging in, I manually saved my user profile and settings. Now it logs on automatically.

                  Re: 2k Account

I went to: "C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\2K Sports\NBA 2K12\Saves" and deleted "settings.stg. Started NBA2k12, created a new My2K Player, and saved. Exited NBA2k12. Started NBA2k12 and I didn't get the "expired" message. So it looks like I'm good. Thanks to all for the help!

I did everything you did , except delete my player files, and I still had to log in every time. I don't see why My Player has anything to do with logging in to the game.

I tried everything to get online with this, but nothing worked. It was really frustrating and put me off playing the game.
Anyhoo, I'm not sure if 2K did anything, but it works fine now.
