I've been having issues on and off since the 1.01 patch was released including the one you're having. I went back to the 1.00 version to avoid most of the issues but the NBA Today still doesn't work properly.Systems

Todays games aren't showing up, yesterday it was fine but today its not working now.

Yeah man this is terrible, so sick and tired of this mess with them...Abandoning the PC titles each year..Last year it was the MLB 2k11 that just got hosed around the World Series and now this crap with the NBA....Patch made it worse and now NBA Today games, don't work...
The only reason I purchase this game is because I want the online features to function properly...So far 2k12 has done nothing right.
Still can't upload pictures or videos to NBA2k.com
Now NBA Today games are no longer updating, online graphics are still crap and the gameplay is lag hell....
Purchasing 2k13 is a big negative, unless they start to really focus on us....Comment

The online low video settings is not a bug afaik but a 2k decision because they don't have the powerful pc servers for a lag-free online experience.I understand that many people emphasize on online play and that's a big let down for them (I'm an offline sports gamer so I don't care about these online problems).I buy every year the game on pc and I will do the same with future versions.Despite the lack of post release game support (patch) I'm satisfied with this product and I support 2k.It was a big move by them to bring the 2k series on pc with 2k9.EA Sports abandoned pc users and had a nasty attitude towars them all these years.Comment

But this has resulted into a no competition, making 2K series a must buy if you want to play a basketball game, which means that 2K doesn't really put much of an effort... They have the worst customer service, they can't fix the online game (the year is 2012, not 2002) and they can't fix some enormous bugs that can't be explained. I have tried to find excuses for them but I can't anymore.Comment
