    capturing gameplay video?

Im looking to Start an Association with the Seattle Sonics

Ive DL NBA2k11 and Ive gotten a few mods that Im about to install. I havent ever been a big PC gamer so Im not exactly sure how to go about this.

Im looking to capture gameplay in order to make highlight videos for youtube. Does any1 know how I can go about this?

    thx in advance

Your best option would be a software called FRAPS. It's the most common one among the community. Here is the link: http://www.fraps.com . Just a heads up, it does cause some lag recording during gameplay.

or you may want to google playclaw - it claims to be better than fraps in terms of lag.

Bandicam is also a much better option IMO than fraps, that's what I'm using now. You could give it a try.

I've tried Fraps and Bandicam and neither of them can give you smooth gameplay while playing. Bandicam has some terrible screen tearing when playing and recording. Fraps...well everyone knows how laggy that can be.

Try MSI Afterburner IMO this is by far the best recording program for me...you take no hit at all while playing/recording

I upgraded my monitor with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 and finding a program that can record something smooth at that res can be a hassle. I'm still messing around with the settings...

          BF3 with MSI Afterburner

weird...I'm able to record TW2 in 1080p but I'm having trouble with BF3...

Bandicam works fine for me. Only thing I could say is that, regardless of the program you're using, always record on a different hdd from the one you are running the game from.
