Modding wih Steam Users

I was wondering if its possible to Mod for Steam 2k12 users? I've tried it step by step but can't get the Mod's too work. Is it possible to use a USB to get it to work since there are no Saves folder in 2k12 for Steam? I'd like to know because I really want to use the 256 mod and FIBA especially before 2k13 comes out.

saves file is in


"username"/appdata/roaming/2ksports/nba2k12/

username is whatever you named it.
