    NBA2K13 FXAA Graphics Enhancer

This is the FXAA Tool with my custom settings. It is a Graphics Enhancer/Color Corrector and adds a lot of things I think improve the looks of the in-game graphics. I like it much better than ENB because it has no to little impact on FPS. No other Mods are running just the FXAA.

Use the ingame Anti-Alaising/ if you have AA off in-game because of performance simply open the FXAA Tool and click the box allowing the FXAA Anti-Alaising.
I would highly recommend overriding in game AA with the graphics control panel Nvidia/ATI under game profiles. I noticed a difference of around 25-30 frames and I was running (in Nvidia Control Panel)
SLI 8x with 8x SuperSample compared to in game AA settings 8x at 3 quality

Here is some pictures of FXAA and some without to allow comparisons.

Looks great man! How does this effect the fps? I'm currently running the game on low settings because my rig is ~5 years old, but I'm not sure if a)this would improve the graphics at low settings at all and b)how this effects the fps.

It has little to no impact on performance not sure with lower end systems though. Being your playing at low settings maybe try it and see. If your running no Anti Alaising I would suggest when you place the files in your NBA2K13 folder run the FXAA_Tool Application and click on the On/Off box to use the FXAA Anti Alaising it has a lot less hit on fps than regular AA.

Is there a tell that it is actually on in game. When I toggle pause on and off, it is hard to tell. It makes me think I am doing something wrong, but it should be straight forward. It looks good, so I think it is on.

Do you have to use the keyboard pause to toggle it on and off? I have been doing that, just curious. Thanks for the files!

It's enabled by default. Were you using an enb mod or another that uses d3d9 dll file? If so the FXAA might not be running. I suggest if that's the case delete whatever photomod/enb mod you were running and reinstall the FXAA Files.
Make sure you have these files in your NBA2k13 Folder:
              njFX_Shaders
              d3d9
              dxgi
              fxaa_readme
              FXAA_Tool
              shader

You should be able to tell when pressing pause button. Go to a replay and zoom in on a player and try it.
Another way to make sure is working correctly is to open the FXAA_Tool in your NBA2k13 folder while in game (alt + tab to minimize NBA2k13) and under the sepia tab move the Sepia Color Tone to a bright red color (like Fulvous) then enable it clicking On/Off box, then open NBA2k13 back up and then press pause button to enable/disable. You should notice it then if it is working correctly.

I can't seem to get this working. I pasted all of the files into the NBA 2k13 folder, but when I try to open the FXAA tool it says access to file "...." denied (can't remember the exact file name). Any ideas?

You talking about the "d3d9.dll" file?

I'm missing the "d3dx9_43.dll". I'm currently re-installing DirectX and hope this will solve my problem.

Just got home and checked. When I try to open the FXAA tool it says "acess denied to folder inj_shaders". I can tell the FXAA injector is working in game, but I'd to get the tool functional so I can disable all of the sharpening and technicolor effects. I just want to try applying some FXAA post process filtering.

Any thoughts on what the deal is with the folder permission?

I don't no what's up with that? I will be uploading another version 2 soon with Technicolor disabled and less sharpening. When you download the file before extracting scan it then unblock it before unzipping.

Here is the FXAA Injector website. Download the latest one which is FXAA ToolHg6
