Two Questions Re: Customizing teams in PC version

    1) Last year I had 2k12 on the 360 and was able to swap out the Bobcats for the Hornets as a team but keep the Bobcat's roster. I did the same thing with Seattle and OKC. I had the generic custom arena but otherwise everything else was almost the same. Is it possible to do this in this year's PC version? (essentially exporting the classic Hornets team, swapping the classic players out and putting the current players in).

    2) Whether or not the above is a "no," are there mods out there available to a) play as the Charlotte Hornets with the Bobcats' current roster, b) change TWC arena to make it more like a Hornets arena?

Thanks. I'm looking to pick up the PC version but these questions are very important to me.

Yes, as simple as renaming a few files.

It's nice to see it being that simple. Can you point me in the direction of a guide or resource showing me how to do it?

Basically, over on NLSC there are forums that show what each teams unique ID is. If you want the Bobcats to play in the old Hornets arena, find the Bobcats ID, and the Charlotte Hornets ID. Just rename the Uniform and stadium from the Charlotte Hornets to the Bobcats team ID, and wallah, the uniforms and stadium will be the bobcats now. Now, in order to get the names right, you'll need to wait on Reditor or get someone to hex the name.

Just curious why you would want to do something like that? I'm always looking for unique playing angles.

See Hornets link in my signature. Also, I figured it out without having all of the big hullaboo of 2k12. Just as simple as editing the roster and importing the teams into association. no classic team trade bug this year.
