Questions about 2K13 from someone still playing 2K12

Hello all, last year I picked up 2K12 for PC when Amazon had the digital version on sale for $9.99 to celebrate the NBA coming back from lock-out. Since then I've played it quite a bit and enjoyed it greatly along with all the mods I've added to it (better cyberfaces, realistic arenas, improved ball physics, real player shoes, better graphics, changing the NJ Nets to the Brooklyn Nets with everything accurate other than the audio). When the actual new season began I didn't feel like buying 2K13 since I was still having so much fun with 2K12 and I've kept playing it (about to finish up my first regular season in Association). But lo and behold, Amazon has 2K13 on sale now for $9.99 and I'm kind of tempted to pick up 2K13, but on the other hand I feel like 2K12 still has life left in it, enough to carry me through this current season to 2K14. I checked out ModdingWay's 2K13 mod section a little bit, but I was wondering if some OS'ers wouldn't mind giving their opinions on how the modding community and single player gameplay of 2K13 compares to 2K12. The Dream Team rosters sound cool, but are not exactly enough to get me to purchase 2K13. Also, did 2K Sports ever say whether they were going to give PC users the All-Star Weekend DLC that console players got? To be honest, when I heard that was omitted from the PC release of 2K13 back in October it left a pretty bad taste in my mouth when it came to considering purchasing 2K13. How's the cyberface community for 2K13 compared to the excellent cyberfaces that were made for 2K12? Are there a lot of lazy "ports" of 2K12 faces to 2K13 or have people done some great work from scratch? How does a typical game in 2K13 differ from that of 2K12, if it does at all?

Thanks in advance for any replies!

I like 2k13 a lot better than 12, it has its flaws, but to me the sig skills are such a huge selling point, as well as the new controls; I love the right stick dribbling. Some guy did Kyrie's clear mask, which I won't lie is pretty sweet. There are a lot of good features. That being said, it has its problems, rebounding, some inside stuff, but for the most part its a really good game.

So coming from someone who played both, I would definitely pick it up for 10 bucks.
