Not able to go online in PC?

    Hi Everyone,

I am having an issue that is repeating over and over again. When in Start Menu, after the "loading settings" sign appears, I automatically get this message:

"The 2KSports severs are temporarily unavailable. You automatically will be connected when service is restored".

But this, of course, never happens. It is strange though, because I can't seem to be able to connect for a while now. As far as I remember, in the last month or so I received this particular message.

Makes me think, even-though I do not play online, what can possibly be the cause of this?

I have the game on Steam so everything is more than 'legal' hah.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks in advance!

I was also have the same issue. It took 2ksupport 3 months to fix it. Listed below is what they told me to do. It did resolve the problem:

Thank you so much for the update.
Please try the following fix to resolve your issue:

    - Press the Windows key + R on your keyboard.
    - Type regedit then hit the Enter key.
    - Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > 2K Sports > NBA 2K13
    - Delete every file in the NBA 2K13 folder except for (Default).

    Now restart NBA 2K13.

    - Re-enter your DATE OF BIRTH
    - Read and accept the terms
    - Select Log In To Existing Account
    - Select Create A New Account
    - Enter a MyPLAYER Account Name
    - Enter a Password

Finish creating your Account, and you should now be able to play online.
Please let us know how it goes!

    Cheers,
    Jeremy M

This worked great duke2020, thank you!

I suspected there was something to do with local files or registers in win, but honestly had no idea where the problem was!

Hope people with the same problem can see this post.

      Thanks again.
