Yes it sucks that what was said wasn't actually "true", was just passing the info along. Out of the questions I asked I tried to make sure that I could get SOLID info by asking the same questions just differently. :wink:

Here's to hoping that pc gets some support love.

Is there a way to where if next-gen came out could they give pc a patch to where we would get next-gen or close ?

Probably what he meant was the PC version graphics are actually superior to current gen consoles because of texture resolution. So it's better than current gen but of course worse than Next-gen consoles. I don't think next-gen is coming anytime soon on PC from 2K Sports, i wouldn't be surprised if it never came at all because of easy piracy and the reduced price...

2. If they released an actual full next gen version for the PC it's perfectly reasonable to put the price up to $50. It's half price now because it's half the effort and modders do half the work. If they went full on DX11,HDR,SSAO etc. then there'd be no problem with a full priced game.

I disagree with you, running downloaded games on consoles require an hack to the console itself that is not very popular since PSone.

PC games just require to replace a .exe file in the main directory, much easier, doesn't void any warranty and doesn't expose PC to problems failures or blacklists.

The point is that sports games are made for consoles, the PC version is a gift that 2Ksports will not give forever....

Not likely. The bulk of the game size is the stuff that will make next gen what it is - the textures, models etc. It would be a massive patch, and it would have been easier just to release the PC version with the NG versions if they were going to do that.

No publisher releases ""NextGen"" Graphics for a PC Version before its out on XBoner and PS4. Look at FIFA14 and AC4. Both have old graphics or a pushed back release to allow the Console-Versions to be the first with ""NextGen"" Graphics.

AC4 will have NG-Grafphics, but it will be a few weeks later.

I cannot help but wonder the same. I hope the PC version of 2K15 is a next gen port. I have my doubts though. Is there anyone in the OS community that can lobby on behalf of the NBA 2K PC gamer for a 2K15 next gen port on PC?

It's not a gift, it's a half-a***d product at a half-a***d price. People buy it for $30 and then rage since they get no support at all because $30 is still $30.

I just finished downloading my steam purchase of the game... and without even looking I know I am going to be disappoined because of MyGM mode... which I am guessing is NOT in PC. Cause that looks like something incredibly awesome and right down my alley!

Let's wait and see what MyGM brings on the table. You need to play all matches to unlock some features, no 30-team control, too much social media based decisions. I'm not so optimistic. It's the 1st year of this mode too, so expect some bugs also.

I really want Next Gen for NBA 2K15 on PC. IF NOT I'm going to be super pissed
