Sorry guys for asking this but I'm new to the pc version and modding. I was wondering if you just place these files in the install folder of nba2k14. For example the roster file. I put the roster file in there but I don't see any changes.

Roster files go into a different folder, usually in the app data/roaming/2kspots/ 2k14/saves.

to get to the folder go to the start menu and search for "%appdata%" (yes include the %).

For stuff like cyberfaces, jersyes, courts etc, it goes in the main install folder.

But yeah, is it possible to do the same with body textures? Arms, legs etc
The arm texture is in the same png file as the cyberface, id imagine you could apply the same technique. But I haven't tried it out for myself. The leg textures are in the global file.

Thanks. I tried to add on of the tnt loadingsequences but that just kicked me out of the game when I tried to start one. Any ideas?

Loadingsequence.bin is in the main 2k14 folder, make sure you back up your original before replacing with a modded file. That's the file for the pre-game intro music while Damon Bruce is talking about the matchup (while the game loads). Make sure the file is named exactly like the one you're replacing.

I checked those out....not really close to his current hairstyle...

Found one that looks closer to his real life self from BlakexTheGreat

Still working on it, still a couple details that feel off, any suggestions?

Skin color is a bit tricky cause I've seen a pretty wide range for him, depending on lighting

That didn't seem to work for me. No biggy though.

Also, like to add: Make a backup copy of your 2K installation folder before you do any modding. Will make things easier on you when/if you start having issues with a certain mod.
