Did some research on the PS4 specs, and as it turns out my PC has very comparable specs to it: Radeon HD 7870 and 8 GB RAM. The Processor is a little ambiguous, but my Core i7 860 (2.87) Ghz appears to run much faster than the PS4's, despite the fact that mine is quad cores to the PS4's 8.

We'll have to see I guess, but I'm feeling much better now about my chances of getting this to run on my system.

Seems like it has been such a long time between good news announcements for PC sports gamers. Kudos to 2K - they had the option to do what EA did with Madden (i.e. a slow painful death), and they opted for the sensible route and are choosing to give PC a chance.

Now for my cynical realist opinion - this is fraught with danger. Committing to the port is one thing, but it has to be executed well, or it will flop.
