What the what? How do I compare my 6 core AMD to this? My 550 is good enough imo but it's about my processor.

      "Intel Core i7 or better"

HAHA thats f ucking ret arded, looks like they have no idea what to expect. That means they have no idea and just picked something that can run it 100%.

That means any solid i3/i5 or AMD CPU will do fine on Ultra.

Any solid Build like that will run it no problem at 1920x1080/60fps.

      - Intel Core i5-4460 Boxed (~150€)
      - Radeon R9 280 / R9 280x (~170€ / ~210€)
      - 8GB DDR3 (~60€)

Looking forward this and it's nice to know I won't have an issue with medium settings, still though, I've been eyeing a R9280 or R9280X.

I kept debating moving back to the consoles but I'd go through serious modding withdrawals.

If it's gonna cost the same as the console version, I think it's pointless to buy it for the PC.

You won't be saying that when you see all the mods that'll be done.

I'm pretty sure GMG will have a 10%-20% off voucher for this game prior to release. Also, even if they don't, it will be on sale by Christmas.

Also, like the poster above me, the mod alone will make the PC version worth it.

EDIT: Coupon already exists. GMG + Z4364W-7MR5WA-N5BCOO and you'll get the game for $48.00!

So, when is the last time that a sports game was better on the PC than on the highest end console? There are so many variables when attempting to get a game to run smooth on a PC as opposed to the console version which will be specifically designed to maximize the specs of the specific console. While there may be considerable modding done, only the highest top-spec PCs can run games as smooth as the XBOX one or PS4. Not too mention, I for one prefer my sports games on a huge big screen, not a 24" monitor. Just my two cents....

You can run a PC game on your tv because I've run mine on my 60 inch 3d tv and a projector 100 inch screen plenty of times.

Anyway, the mods are the things people are saying thats going to take this game over the top which is always did and not just graphically, but adding a horde of teams, authentic presentation wipes, re-doing floors, adding accessories, fixing faces, and so much more stuff its not even funny.

Last gen 2k14 if you want to compare... PC has every season from the 1970s until 2014 with both retro and modern settings to compliment them. Cannot be done on a console.

Specs require that your PC has Windows 7 64 bit or higher like Windows 8. I think people may be overlooking that.

                          I'm with very similiar rig - i3-3240, radeon 7850 1gb and 8gb ram.
No problem to handle battlefield 4 on high setting. Doubt nba 2k will be more demanding than modern fps titles.

The requirements are just unclear, gap between minimum and recommended specs is very big on cpu side. And no specific graphic cardsm there are many 2gb vram gpus which can only run games on low settings.

To each his own, but I disagree. If anything now that the PC version has all the features of the console version its pointless to buy the console version. The PC version can have better visuals(depending on your system). PC version will eventually have all kind of mods.

I am gladly gonna pay $60 dollars for the PC version and hope for continued support like this for the future NBA 2k PC versions.

If those are the recommended specs, almost no one will be playing this game on high settings. Really doubt it's true.

                                i5 (mid range)/AMD 6300 with 750 ti/R9 270x + should be fine.
