    Re: PC Impression's Thread

I have an amd card. Problem is when turn down AA in the game it smoothens without the stuttering but for example Robin Lopez hair looks like something from MS Paint from a distance. Not up close though just when playing.

Try 4x AA. I only see the MS paint-esque hair on 2x and x1.

Yep I put it on 2 as a matter if fact lol

Its just that I was getting the stutter beyond that for whatever reason AA is the issue?

          I am concerned reading all this..... I have a beast rig;

          16GB RAM
          4790K 4.0Ghz CPU
          EVGA Superclocked GTX-980

I sank nearly $2k into this beast, if I have issues I will be MAD!

Running Everything on Highest all settings max, still 113 fps...

I feel bad for people who still put their trust in expense Nvidia cards...

Running a 2GB 7850 Ghost Edition with 16gb of 2133mhz AMD Gaming Ram.

Intel i7 Processor - Asus Motherboard..

game full frames per second 1080p 60fps on Asus Monitor no problem sometimes in game at 77 to 90 fps.

Running in 4k on Dell monitor at 74fps.

                Re: PC Impression's Thread

I had AA at 2, filter was standard and texture filter quality was at 2. The game didn't stutter but I had MS paint hair.

I just tried to up some of those numbers and it started stuttering again even at 112 fps.

Anyone seen any graphical glitches like this and have any idea to fix it?

Yep that's the balance in trying to find. Even setting AA on the card doesn't seem to matter much

Then again the MS Paint hair is like that on the console at least for Jeremy Lin

                      Re: PC Impression's Thread

I was just trying to get rid of the MS paint hair so I cranked some settings up in CC and ended up with some pretty smooth gameplay with only slight stuttering during fast breaks wear i throw the ball ahead.

I'll just go down the list

                      AA mode: override app
                      AA Samp: 12x
                      filter: edge detect
                      AA Method: multi
morphological: off (no idea what that is even)
                      Anisotrophic filtering mode: override app
                      anisotrofic filtering level: 16x
                      Texture filtering: High quality
                      Surface format op: on
                      Vertical refresh: always on
                      Triple buffering: off
                      tess: amd op
                      Max tess: amd op

Still have MS paint hair. Kyle O'quin's beard turns grey and elfrid Peytons hair is just a mess.

                        Re: PC Impression's Thread

Was getting okay but not silky smooth gameplay out-of-the-box, with high 4x @ 1080p, on an i5 760/16GB/R9 270X system.

I dropped it down to 2x and also tried disabling the supersampling - noticeably smoother in gameplay, but the cut scenes are still ever so slightly laggy. Might play around with the Catalyst settings for AA as opposed to 2K's ingame ones.

Been meaning to get a more modern i5 but the 760 still seems to cut it for what I use it for. Not sure getting a i5 4690 would really improve things that much. Could be wrong though.

As for gameplay - having not played the next gen version until this, I was pretty impressed with the way the game feels as opposed to the old PC game. I love how you can't just spam the jukes and spins and hope to get anywhere. The CPU AI also seems pretty impressive from what I've played so far.

I'm not sure the hair is your settings. Now the beard is another thing. I'm going to have to tweak more tomorrow but man I love how it looks on my big screen. Game is ridiculous and fun

Have you tried running a game in Drive or 2k Cam? I can get high framerates, but it's the stutters that are driving me batty.

A great product sells itself, no "back of the box" features required! (See Fifa...)
