I have an amd card. Problem is when turn down AA in the game it smoothens without the stuttering but for example Robin Lopez hair looks like something from MS Paint from a distance. Not up close though just when playing.

Re: PC Impression's Thread
Try 4x AA. I only see the MS paint-esque hair on 2x and x1.Comment

Re: PC Impression's Thread
I was just trying to get rid of the MS paint hair so I cranked some settings up in CC and ended up with some pretty smooth gameplay with only slight stuttering during fast breaks wear i throw the ball ahead.
I'll just go down the list
AA mode: override app
AA Samp: 12x
filter: edge detect
AA Method: multi
morphological: off (no idea what that is even)
Anisotrophic filtering mode: override app
anisotrofic filtering level: 16x
Texture filtering: High quality
Surface format op: on
Vertical refresh: always on
Triple buffering: off
tess: amd op
Max tess: amd op
Still have MS paint hair. Kyle O'quin's beard turns grey and elfrid Peytons hair is just a mess.Comment

Re: PC Impression's Thread
Was getting okay but not silky smooth gameplay out-of-the-box, with high 4x @ 1080p, on an i5 760/16GB/R9 270X system.
I dropped it down to 2x and also tried disabling the supersampling - noticeably smoother in gameplay, but the cut scenes are still ever so slightly laggy. Might play around with the Catalyst settings for AA as opposed to 2K's ingame ones.
Been meaning to get a more modern i5 but the 760 still seems to cut it for what I use it for. Not sure getting a i5 4690 would really improve things that much. Could be wrong though.
As for gameplay - having not played the next gen version until this, I was pretty impressed with the way the game feels as opposed to the old PC game. I love how you can't just spam the jukes and spins and hope to get anywhere. The CPU AI also seems pretty impressive from what I've played so far.Comment
