    Antialising quality bug?

    Hello. I have a gtx970 with 16GB ram and 4790K CPU.

At Video settings, The antialising quality is locked (grey) to 0. I cannot change the value.

    Antialising is set to 8.

What is happening? Do anyone else has this problem?

    NOTE:

I have tested it to all Antialising values (set to 1, 4, 8). The AA quality is locked.

I have edit the AppData\Roaming\2K Sports\NBA 2K15\VideoSettings.cfg file. I have even input the AAquality to 32 and after that made the file READ ONLY. I can see then the 32 value on AA quality but it is still locked (grey).

This is a limitation imposed to us by the graphics driver. The important setting is the Antialiasing Level. The Antialiasing Quality is a sub-setting available only for certain levels, and the settings we provide are directly provided to us by your driver. It's not a limitation on our side. Different cards and different drivers will provide different quality settings for different levels.

Seems to be problem with only the newer 900 series. I am using a 670 myself and have the option of changing it.

          1. Does my GPU support AA (MSAA)? Yes
          2. Are there any other limitations? No because it is the 900 series.

If 1 == yes and 2 ==no then it is your fault. The software is programmed to follow hardware. Not the opposite...

I have the 900 series and I cannot play my favourite game the way it should be played.

My only alternative solution is the RDS technology (4k downscaled)....

I am waiting for a patch, or another solution.

          Thanks Leftos for your time

Lefteri can you take a closer look at the nba2k15.exe file please? Maybe some address problem or something else bad coded inside the file causes the microstutters?

That's odd. I have a 770 and was able to set it to the max. Definitely may be a 900 series only thing. Could it have something to do with the MFAA the new cards have? I doubt it tho.
