My brother and I share a gaming PC. Long story short, we have different accounts on the computer and it will let me change the MyPlayer and start a career, but when I quit the game it suddenly goes back to his player, just on the team I put him on. How do we fix this? His never changes during the process, so I would think there is something we could do to fix this problem.

I don't think it's possible to have 2 different MyPlayers. You would have to go back to 2K12 for that to happen.

Hello,
You wrote that you two have different accounts but I'm not sure if you mean nba2k accounts, steam accounts or just user accounts on the computer. This is what worked for me and a friend:
Create your own steam account on that computer. Log in with that account and in the game library there should be all the games that are installed on that computer. Try to start NBA through steam, it will ask you if you want to ask the owner for permission to play nba. The email registered with the steam account that you bought nba with will get an email asking if you want to grant the permission. Grant the permission with the link you got in the email and now you will have your own blank copy of nba that you can use(new myPlayer, myTeam etc.). You can do this for up to 5 accounts.
